As for her touching his feet, at that point he was technically not her jijaji. So it's OK I guess? She was too burdened to say "Thank you" and hence the feet touching to show she's equally shattered by her decision?

I don't understand, what's so wrong in touching another man while one's married? Is it a sin or something? Excuse my naivete, I am not really aware of these things😳

The reason I thought she didn't let him touch her at BD's was because she was genuinely trying to move on and Saras was being a distraction in that process (both physically and emotionally) and not because she was socially bound or something.

Now that she has decided to give him away to kusum and already told kusum of the same , isn't she morally bound to let go of him?

Ok, I am just trying to make a point here, by picking on this thing.

That's why I have raised this question to all those who have loved the scene for depicting Saras and Kumud's eternal bond of love.

I want to understand from them how do they condone Kumud's decision to keep loving Saras for ever if she wants to give him to her sister.

I just want to impress on all that Kumud's decision to 'give ' Saras to kusum has a moral and ethical and emotional implications.

That if we defend this decision as a sacrifice, then we must demand another sacrifice - that of a complete and quick death of anything Samud.

Because a Kumud who still loves Saras is wrong now.

About a married woman touching another man's feet - per se nothing wrong - it's all in the motive and intention and if they have a past like Saras and Kumud, then it can lead to insecurity and misinterpretation.

So if it's touching his feet to show gratitude - it's ok. but if it's to show their undying love - then that's wrong

His love versus his farz - should he give in to Kumud's wish or should he point blank refuse, this does not really mean that he contemplated marrying kusum, it was just the torture of seeing Kumud in pain.

I think he was so determined not to give up on Kumud, at the same time solving her problem and easing her pain, that he decided to find a positive win win solution to this.

He does feel responsible for Desais and kusum, he meant when he said that he will support kusum if she is in trouble, so he will not walk away from that duty of his.

He just hated seeing Kumud like that, and was reacting to that.

OK, acting diligent. How did I miss this?😭

Last two three days, the episodes are beyond horrible..

I love SaMud so much.. I always FELT their on screen chemistry just rocks..

I decided not to watch the show numerous times getting irritated on this bad storyline..

But i couldnt quit coz i just loved the show.. Love cannot be forgotten so easily.. The best thing i love about saras is his unconditional love for kumud which he attained after breaking all his restricting bonds.. Coz she was his only happiness alive for him.. He valued his relationship more.. This makes every girl fall for him..even kusum..

And the best thing about Kumud is her himmat..But she is losing it now..She is being potrayed as a weak character now.. Even Kumud respected her relationship before getting married.. Any girl cant see his lover with the same thought after getting married to someone else.. This made her weak..A girl's bad situation ever.. The very first moment i got angry on kumud was..She could have waited for saras before taking any decision of getting married to an another guy.. But poor kumud..wat can she do..She was hurt..Saras was her first love, which she had longed after seeing him in her dream..And which she achieved breaking all her so called attitude..

Love is all about sacrifices.. But sacrificing love is not fair at all..

Saras and Kumud loves each other.. But Kusum what kind of an attitude she have..?? And I cant agree the fact that she is Meera.. Oh god.. When kumud said she will get married to the one she wished..She got up n asked..He agreed..??? Disgusting.. I felt like asking What kind of a woman are you..Dont you have any morals in ur life..?? He is the one who loves ur sister..And ur sister loves him too..They are almost become partners for each other.. But how she love him..?? Falling for such a good person is natural, but demanding him to marry her is really horrible.. If she really wants to attempt suicide, why is she attempting in terrace ..?? Are we fools to accept this..Kusum is such a disgusting character I have ever seen,.. And Danny..I m feeling very sorry for him..Really bad choice in choosing ur love..She dont deserve it danny.. U re the only hope to save SaMud now..

And kumari, very less screen space for her nowadays.. she lost her papa.. fed up wit her furious mom.. got cheated in love.. And now too Saras and danny are her brothers coz Dughba is saras' mom na..

Kumud touching saras' feet was just divine(In my pov).. Its not that she is begging, then we could say every indian girl is begging in front of her husband.. The respect they have for their husband..they shows.. And the right to touch their feet..Which kumud showed..

Honestly saying..They are excellent.. And their love for each other is still no way less.. Ya.. she is not respecting her beloved's feelings.. But she is helpless..

We re with u SaMud..

With lots of love n support..

God gave us two hands..Two legs..Two eyes..Two ears..but only heart..Coz to search n reach the another one by self..

First of all, thank you all for your responses. I won't be able to give individual replies due to lack of time and nor do I disagree with your anger towards Kumud especially because I feel that anger too. When I made the post, it wasn't to defend Kumud's actions, it was more to explain why I feel the twist has happened. Though the show has not followed the novel literally but we knew that there could be a track where Kumud would ask Saras to marry Kusum. This is not me agreeing with what she did but this was me mentally preparing myself for the worst. I find it disgusting that she asked him to do such a thing. Saras' reaction reflected our reaction completely but Kumud herself is a lost case. Her marriage broke off, she fell apart completely, she married a horrid man who almost tried to kill/rape her and she is blamed for bringing bad luck to the family and especially Kusum. Then that divine sister tries to commit suicide. Whatever we think of Kusum, unfortunately Kumud does love her to death. We've seen how attached she is to her family.

This is not me defending her (why would I if i don't agree with what she did) but just explaining how weak and pathetic she has become. She keeps faltering, dropping to the ground in front of Saras because she can't handle anything now. Her decisions will NOT be rational.

Regarding the last scene. I did not see it as derogatory because the way I saw it, Kumud did it out of complete respect/gratitude. What is wrong if she touched his feet out of gratitude anyway? Why do we bow down in front of God? Because either we want something from him, or we are apologizing to him or we are thanking him.

She will put her family above Saras because she puts them above herself too. She will fight for Saras when she has the guts to fight for herself.

And I would appreciate anyone who thinks I'm that dumb to confuse my love for the actor with the character to not post in my topics :) I didn't mention the actors anywhere in my thread. Thank you.

God Kumud will b MAD that Saras has again not listened to her. Thank god for that but this kusum!!! Is she turning psycho or wat. She gonna ruin Danny's life.

I hope CVs put some sense in kumud's head. I hate to see her this way that is weak n pathetic n auto destructing herself n killing Saras in the process.

All I know I am relieved it is not Saras. N I know wat to expect when these two are mad at each other!! They will give us sizzling stuff for sure!! Hope they patch up soon also coz I get depressed when they r away from each other n r miserable.

Yep I did! :( I'm just so disgusted by Kusum dude. She is really really pathetic. Just wait to see how she blames Kumud for this too and then Kumud will take out all her frustration on Saras.

That is something I'd like to pre-warn everyone about. Kumud is definitely going to be very upset/angry with Saras. That's the coming track but I'm sure we will get very intense scenes.

I'm a sadistic so I enjoy these kind of twists Haha! I'm just happy it was Danny whom that divine aurat got married to.

I am not sure I will love to see my laddoo miserable esp coz of that crazy kusum. Yes I will bear it though coz I can bear anything but kusum n Saras marriage. I wonder wat prompted Saras to exchange the dulha!! How I wish the family at least dugbaa was in it with him!!

I think she will b there for Saras.

I guess Kumud will make it clear- it is over between them after he has cheated on her n her sister.

I thought that kusum will have a change of heart or will realize her folly on time but gosh she is lost case completely obsessed!!
