because at first Saras was the one vulnerable one with "destiny" issues (as I
call them). He didn't want to get close to Kumud because he thought he loses

fight for your own destiny. But now Kumud is the one with "destiny" issues.</font>

the same Kumud that the show began with, but that makes sense. How can she be
the same? She was left at the wedding alter by Saras, abused by Pramad
(physically, verbally & emotionally), accused of ruining her family's
reputation, and is now being emotionally blackmailed by the lunatic she
believes is her beloved sister. Kumud has turned vulnerable. It's a phase and
her current vulnerability is part of the Saras-Kumud story to me. So I'm not
hating on her characterization.</font>

jus asking out curiosity ji r u Dabulls? Cz she used to write in purple on ths forum..

I do think that you, along with very few others here are "loving" this track, unfortunately.
To be honest, I do not feel anything "SAMUD" from anything that is being shown on this show nowadays. The thing Kumud asks Saras to do, and the way she always brings it back to the whole "mere liye kar do" mentality, makes the request even worse, and makes her even more of a selfish, emotional blackmailer! For her own family's happiness and izzat, she can destroy another human being's life completely, is beyond me. How are we supposed to respect her after that?! And that scene where she touches his feet, may seem like something someone who was completely vulnerable would do, but to me it seems like something the heroine straight out of an Ektaa Kapoor show would do.

I believe that this is the extent of bad writing and bad timing, and horrible character development has led the SC CVs to. Don't get me wrong, Kumud;s character has developed, it has taken a complete 360 degrees turn (unfortunately)! .. but she was supposed to be righteous, and this is completely and UTTERLY wrong.

Tbh, I do not think Kumud deserves Saras. I was a shipper, but now I think that this ship has sinked, and they bring nothing more than torture. As you may be able to see, I do not believe in the whole "love hurts" sentiment. Oh and even if Danny becomes Kusum;s bakara, i would be extremely sad, because he doesn't deserve that either. Danny and Kumari would have been something fresh and interesting, which this show really needed.

I too would have loved the scene If it would had been a pure gesture of love, but here it was fully a skill to majboor karo saras. Since her previous attempt failed she went for something drastic act.

For Kumud - Apna khoon (her's and kusum's) baha to khoon, aur dusre (saras and danny) ka baha to paani.
For VC parivaar - Jab moka mile samne wale ko use karo aur kab aur kaise use kiya bhool jao.

Saras - poor soul, he just can't say NO to kumud, he is the only one who is actually in love in the entire scenario.

Kusum - thappar khao, galiyaan khao, par apna mission kissi bhi keemat par poora karo.

Danny - unknown to the ghatiyaa nature of kusum and kumud's peeth mein chura maro wala andaaz.

Similarities between kumud and kusum - both never listen to dear mommy, daddy, badi maa or saras. What they all think is not important. The only thing is what they think is always right and yes both know how to justify their wrong decisions beautifully (blame it on kismat, ab wo to aayega nahin na apni safai dene).

I was very unhappy with Kumud last night, and please bear with me as I explain my reasons :

Reemz, there are three different issues here

1. We all know that it's a drama, and the ups and downs are needed to keep the story moving , no issue there

2. We also are pretty certain that Saras is not marrying kusum , so no problem there

3. The issue of the viewer involvement with characters, where we as viewers treat the characters as real, and judge them for their actions and decisions, even though we know, it will finally end well, or it was just a dramatic twist. This is called viewer engagement, and all cvs yearn for that .

It is in this context that all the anger is.

Kumud asking Saras to marry kusum - my issue is only with that

And I can't understand or justify that in any way

She wanted to stay married to pramaad - she never discussed this with Saras, nor took him into consideration, fine her marriage, her life, her choice

But when it comes to his life, isn't asking him to also get into a loveless marriage a bit too much?

And if kusum is in love with a man who doesn't love her back, how is it right to blackmail emotionally the same man to marry her, instead of supporting kusum to get over her feelings and move on?

Isn't she condemning Saras and kusum to a life of compromises, and a marriage where there is no unity of soul or of mind, just a marriage made out of coercion.

Won't kusum resent her even more later, when she sees her husband silently crying for her sister, wouldn't kusum be eaten with jealousy every time Saras and Kumud so much as cross each other in the hallway ?

Won't Saras and Danny's relationship be ruined forever, and won't Danny always resent kusum for marrying his brother?

That was one anger - about not understanding the compexities and dynamics of love and relationships and taking a short sighted way out of a complex problem

Second is a complete disregard for Saras as a person with emotions, a person who is living breathing feeling, and treating him like a kamarband that can be gifted and swapped.

Third is her propensity to take unilateral decisions in a relationship where the only thing that works is when the partners stand together and brave every storm.

And the touching his feet - I didn't comment on it, because I just did not understand why she would do that

Was it like - tumhare paanv padti hoon, please Meri behen se shaadi Karlo - emotional blackmail

Or was it - tumne chup chap Meri baat maan li, isliye tumhara dhanyavad karti hoon - emotional blackmail again because he hadn't yet said yes

Tum mere bhagawan ho, main tumhain poojti hoon - I will worship you always, like your Meera, - so inspite of marrying kusum - will she still worship him? Isn't that cheating on her sister?

Or aaj se tumhara Mera rishta khatam - a good bye feet touching, you stood by me as my support in my duty marriage, but I am abandoning you , now that you are entering into a duty marriage.

i appreciate ur point of veiw , 👏

But today i did not like kumud at all coz today she was as wrong message as kusum and giving wrong message to the society and woman in special .

What crap message Kumud character is giving...if my sister says she likes my man and attempts some illogical suicide by blade , i will force my man to marry her saying my sister attempted suicide for u marry her !!!!

Damn it which woman keeps her man at stake reems !!!!!

What is saras ?? he is ready to die for Kumud so she will say fine marry my sister , marry that thing... marry that amm ya amrood ka ped ...and he will do it !!!!

What kind of soul mate relationship is this !!!

No i dont accept such relationship , i have always hated men who use woman like things and misuse their love and affection and so equally i hate Kumud a woman for using Saras , a man and his love as thing and misusing his affection and blackmailing him into a wedlock

Damn it Kumud is a culprit and she needs to know it.No woaman has right to blackmail her lover into an unwanted marriage NO NO NO .

Kusum i have always hated her coz she is dumb head but today kumud stands by her side equally guilty for treating saras as a thing .

I am proud that Saras gave these ladies on their face and acted smart and will even love and appreciate his character more .I appreciate him for acting logically with mind rather then giving in to these two sisters emotional blackmail (this apprecaition only stands if he has not married Kusum else he is worst then these K sisters )

I'm fine with the Storyline but what makes me mad is Kumud touching Saras feet. I believe man and women are equal and this goes against every pillar of that moral. It is one of Indias major dilemmas and I will never support the act of taking blessings from your husband by touching his feet as if he is an elder or god. When married, you are equal.

But Saras at that moment was not Kumud's husband, he was her would be brother in law, who is doing her and her fallen sister a favour by marrying her sister.

And if a man comes forward to accept a woman who has been tainted by getting kidnapped, his feet must be touched and he must be worshipped for this.

That was the message in that scene, they accepted society's allegation that kusum is maili, and so no man will accept such a woman.

And Saras deserves gratitude for being kind enough to marry such a girl.
