@ Ivy:
Again, I started today's episode... Watched it to the point where Kumud said, Kalika aur mere beech ka difference - jhooth aur sacchaii. At which point I laughed so hard that I choked on the chocolate milk I was drinking...Pot meet kettle. At least 'pot' bhag toh gayyi, before she could be coerced into an unwanted relation.. 'Kettle' abhi tak mooh uthhaye khadi hai, further abuse ke liye. Toh kiske paas hai 'aatma sammaan'? At that point, I again realised that Kumud is not only a kettle but she is an empty one, where even the dregs have dried up and are starting to give off a bad smell, and then I promptly switched the telly off.

Let's all witness Ratnagiri's foremost graduate's, mighty fall from grace. A lost cause & she ain't even irresistible to me, anymore... I was never a Kumud advocate to begin with, and with today's and yesterday's epi's... I've reached my tolerance threshold with her. I cannot even applaud the sham and token 'walkout' which will now be staged... Thrown like rotted breadcrumbs to appease. Well, it is my choice and I refuse to gobble. SP can just shove their token Nayi Soch crap. I would have respected them more had they brazenly followed through with their ghatiya soch. This just shows that they have no respect, and no convictions in their mathematics either. So-called paragons of virtue, cannot rise above low, and below-the-belt, blows. Not only are they fickle, but they are the fickle-who-wield-power. Those kinds, are worse than the tryrants. They're out & out megalomaniac's.

Her walking out and same foot coming back in, under pressure or what not, takes a butcher knife to the carcass of Kumudsundari left remaining and hacks with a vengeance. Prepare for a bloodbath, unlike any others... Until she looks up at a Postive Pakau Pramad with stars in her eyes 🤢

Very, very, very well said! We are thinking on the same wavelength here 😳

I agree that our man Saras should not be living there. Period.

But I don't see how Kumud's situation is the same as Pramad's. Yes she kept Saras' secret hidden, which was and is wrong. But, she's not sleeping with him like Pramad is with Kalika. She's not cheating on her spouse with him like Pramad is with Kalika. And at the end of the day, Kumud's intentions are pure. I agree that her methods aren't the best but she doesn't mean anyone harm. She made this decision and she's sticking to it. Pramad on the other hand wasn't man enough to say no to this marriage and is now abusing his wife and sleeping around with another woman. Therefore I don't think he should be compared with Kumud at all.

She is asking for complete honesty, complete trust, when she is unwilling to do so herself. She says there should be a pyaar ka bandhaan between these two, but she is not ready to WORK with Pramad. She just liked to challenge him, with which he gets angry and all hell breaks loose. There is a common formula to the past month of this show that I am seeing... and that is why she is exactly like him.
To try to change someone, you have to first try to understand them. When has Kumud EVER done that? She did a little picking at his back story... then she moved onto her kitchen politics with Kalika. When has she ever even bothered to see the blatant disconnect between even mother and son? Kumud is letting her ego get into the way. When she says uski aatma samaandh ko dhess paunchi, I am now guessing she's confusing it with her ego instead. Because if her aatma samaandh was so affected, she would have done something to change her situation by now... just like the old Kumud did.

Miss Cool Genius...👏
Kumudsundari is a quintessential self-deluded (as happyji says) heroine who prides in her ability to handle relationships and situations perfectly but is fingup each one of them...😒

Miss Anita ji ..👏

Well said. Happy ji also. I'm done with blindly trusting and supporting her. Anita.Malik is right. Kumud ain't no Gulaabi Gang material.

I was sitting there today watching the show, thinking, if Kumud stays after this episode, I'm going to have to stop watching this serial.

The continual abuses that the character suffers, is just too much for me. The producers certainly have heard of something called "abuse po*n". What that means is, the abuse is carried on for so long in this show, a certain sick gratification develops for those who enjoy watching women be abused. Saraswatichandra has bordered on this, and I will not continue to watch if they continue to show Pramad abusing Kumud, especially without any form of justice. I don't care how this novel was written, and how it is to be played out.

Enough.

According to tomorrow's preview, Kumud is to leave Pramad. I truly hope she does.

Finally, someone who looks beyond said-feminist ideas, and focusses on the real troubles of the show 👏 👏 👏

agree with the TM
they say the one who quitely suffers abuse is equally guilty as the abuser.
and kumud here is clearly not standing up to the abuse being meted to her. n for me that is not what a strong person would do. why is she dealing with the abuse? i dont understand her POV at all

Vee... First of all, I adore your disclaimer ☺️
Please listen and you will hear me shout out a resounding YES to all the points you've so intelligently made... You killed it 👏 👏 👏 👏

Kumud's not an equal, and she will never be content with being equal even, Kumud wants to be the victor, the conqueror, Julius Caesar, with the same amount of bloodbath, regardless of how many casualties fall. The most revolting part is that she is being a hypocrite about it.

Winning is all that matters to her, as she said to Saras, almost in a disbelieving tone: Tum chahate ho ki main haar jaaon? Kumud has to win, over Kalika, win Pramad, win Saras' support and devotion, win SD maiyya's allegiance...

Trust me, she is never the one to waste time calculating the cost of her win. Nah, Kumudsundari has her eye on the prize and right now, Prize=Positive Piyyakkad Pakau Pramad. Jeet ki chaaha mein andhi aur in the coming episodes, behri and maha-bewakoof bane gi woh.

Thanks Veera. 😊

One of the reasons I had trouble watching Pratigya was because of the continual abuses on the character Kesar by her husband Shakti.

I'm in America and there are still so many problems with domestic abuse. It is looked down on, but it is also hard to get out of for many.

I'm Oglala, Lakota, Native American Indian, and on the reservation that I grew up on, the domestic violence on women is very similar to what women in India are dealing with, and women being seen as 2nd class citizens.

In our belief, women are supposed to be revered, and people say that Native American tribes are matriarchal but in so many ways they are not.

With all of our issues here, men become abusers due to how they were raised, poverty, and/or alcohol and drug abuse.

Sorry to ramble on!
