agree with the TM
they say the one who quitely suffers abuse is equally guilty as the abuser.and kumud here is clearly not standing up to the abuse being meted to her. n for me that is not what a strong person would do. why is she dealing with the abuse? i dont understand her POV at all

Vee... First of all, I adore your disclaimer ☺️
Please listen and you will hear me shout out a resounding YES to all the points you've so intelligently made... You killed it 👏 👏 👏 👏Kumud's not an equal, and she will never be content with being equal even, Kumud wants to be the victor, the conqueror, Julius Caesar, with the same amount of bloodbath, regardless of how many casualties fall. The most revolting part is that she is being a hypocrite about it.Winning is all that matters to her, as she said to Saras, almost in a disbelieving tone: Tum chahate ho ki main haar jaaon? Kumud has to win, over Kalika, win Pramad, win Saras' support and devotion, win SD maiyya's allegiance...Trust me, she is never the one to waste time calculating the cost of her win. Nah, Kumudsundari has her eye on the prize and right now, Prize=Positive Piyyakkad Pakau Pramad. Jeet ki chaaha mein andhi aur in the coming episodes, behri and maha-bewakoof bane gi woh.
Thanks Veera. 😊
One of the reasons I had trouble watching Pratigya was because of the continual abuses on the character Kesar by her husband Shakti.
I'm in America and there are still so many problems with domestic abuse. It is looked down on, but it is also hard to get out of for many.
I'm Oglala, Lakota, Native American Indian, and on the reservation that I grew up on, the domestic violence on women is very similar to what women in India are dealing with, and women being seen as 2nd class citizens.
In our belief, women are supposed to be revered, and people say that Native American tribes are matriarchal but in so many ways they are not.
With all of our issues here, men become abusers due to how they were raised, poverty, and/or alcohol and drug abuse.
Sorry to ramble on!
By the way, I just wanted to say how much I enjoy this forum, and reading all of your posts here. I do not post as much as I read. :)
You just wrote more than I could ever have in one post, Ivy ji! You and Tomo... same to same mentality 👏 👏 👏 👏And all this being called feminism? It's an insult to it's conceptualization. 😡

Edit:Merlin's beard! Great post that reflects exactly what's on my mind😊
At least the Harvard boy should have known the supremely positive impact of psychotherapy/rehab on extremely depressed/alcoholic patients. Removing Kalika has only exacerbated the already messy situation for Kumud. Just mere wishful thinking with zero steps taken towards what you want to achieve hasn't helped anyone, anywhere, anytime.

It is indeed an insult to feminism, Vee... The founding Mothers must be turning in their graveP.S. Finally Tony and I reach the same page... Oh wait, she was already there 😳
