My mind says there is no alternative coz everything you said is the most probable scenario in the coming weeks.. The only ray of hope is that this phase will not be allowed to last for too long thanks to the medium SLB has chosen to tell his story... this is television where TRP's dictate the track to a large extent.. they had to bring in heavy dose of SaMud romance when they were not getting TRPs despite of some brilliant performances.. and they have gauged the audience's mood.. SaMud is what they want to see.. Secondly SLB has already deviated substantially from the original plot.. So I guess this trend of them coming close and then separating for some reason or the other is gonna happen till the end but the end is gonna be a happily ever after..

I think Gun is going to ask VC to fix their marriage date soon.. though she was the one who had earlier asked him to buy some time for the marriage preparation..I don' t know what Saras's stand will be on this coz I know this is not how he would like to marry her.. So he might leave for UK leaving Kumud in more doubts about the reason he left.. Guman is gonna take full advantage of this..she will be back to her taunting '' mene kaha tha na ek din wo chhorke chala jayega'' I can't imagine what can lead to Kumud marrying Pramad..

Arshiji, your mission is to make the events more enjoyable by bringing in perspective from your side. You do it beautifully, and CB and contributory analysis by all has got me addicted. I can understand better and I'm being patient to SC than I ever have been to any serial before. In fact I have not watched any other daily serial, and hence cannot compare.

CB can be relied more than the confused cv's. Again today's precap was an old scene. What a mess they(cv's) are in. They don't seem to have decided which way to lead the story now.

Dear SLB team, get a grip, stay the way you had been. Subtle nuances and impactful conversations were the most appreciated things so far. There is a big percentage of viewers out there looking for something hat ke from "saas bahu'.

Any breakup at this point of the story needs more solid reason than just PMS or Ghuman. Neither can Saras walk out from his responsibility towards Kumud , nor Kumud can break the trust Saras has towards her.
Where is this story going? Aage dekhte rahiye.

Arshicritic,
Good post and dissections of each one's guilts. But I disagree on one point. She has not wronged Saras. She has wronged her own convictions which are based on certain fundamentals that her upbringing has set for herself. To judge them 'outdated', 'orthodox', or even 'hypocritical' (in face of her ready love), is not this in itself tad bit judgemental from a lofty shelf of a modernist view? Why may she not believe in her values even if they appear traditional? Have not same 'traditional' values served her well so far? Growing into a confident, compassionate and a well rounded personality? A personality who can clearly see in the motives and drivers of a person in rejecting her own self, and then, humanely empathises with him? And then, same 'outdated', 'traditional' mindset repairs that fecund modern mind...nourish and restore it to a road of its full potential as a great man? Even now, affording him pinnacle of full manhood, which earlier, he was prepared to renounce altogether as banal and base? In the consequence of this, if her entire consciousness is torn apart between her sense of betrayal to her own 'convictions' and her deep love for this man, who is now required to calm this deep agitation? Whose turn now it is to help her see 'modern' flexibility of a value system that may hold valid even with that accidental flourish because it occurred within the frame of an existing love? He attempts. But is it enough? To say twice, while she was barely listening, is enough? Or 'relapse' is a birthright? Immediately getting prepared for 'Saza' is enough manhood? If so, then who is wronging whom? And here she is not even blaming HIM, she is majorly blaming her own self!!

As we were talking about Saza...I think his shared 'Saza' will be a 'shared distance', until marriage takes place...and a strong possibility of Guniyal- Saras scene, now that she knows. Their previous dialogue " woman brings love, man's duty to shield" has an added significance now...besides Guniyal will now help them maintain 'distance'...which would have been noticeably awkward otherwise, in view of their earlier closeness witnessed by all...

@ bold- great point that ! and more impressive is the fact that its coming from a guy.. To be able to understand the female's perspective so well.. all I can say is .. *respect* I wasn't able to figure out what could possibly bring Kumud out of this depression and guilt.. I wasn't sure if she'l allow Saras to heal her.. but you are right.. he has to be as persistent as she was.. Instead of blaming himself for wronging her, he has to look at it from her point of view... do whatever it takes to calm her and reassure her.. he has to be by her side..no definitely relapse and self - exile is not the solution.. and going by the spoilers, I think he will not disappoint us.. maybe this is what they wanted to achieve through this track.. balancing out .. first it was Kumud helping Saras and now it will be role reversal.. aaah thanks smrth.. I am all smiles now..😊

Vaishali,
I don't know how far this perspective is correct. Rt. now am saying just from a viewer's watch point...about Saras too I want to say something...his 'adamance' has extra layer. What we are mockingly forgetting (Sanyasi to Romeo) is that, this character is deeply seeped in spirituality (much more so in the original). I was just going through my earliest post where I had put down my impression on this character. It is holding fast ( kudos to the Cvs for maintained consistency). One observation then was this trait. Coming to the point, spiritualism (earnest one, not a superficial) from early age has some amazing peculiarities. Foremost being a sense of a righteous equanimity that lends kind of a clarity in thoughts (even when they are wrong sometimes, like 'superstition' he held, just look at the conviction) and a steadiness...especially so when that mind is sharp, perspective and absorbing ( of course such mind would have same result- spiritual or NOT, but a certain doggedness with formal, i mean). Here under this attribute Saras may act in steely resolve, which though not intended to hurt someone, may end up doing exactly which was not 'intended', I feel. More on ( Saras) week ends, as already too late...GN.😊

lovely post... 😛
and agree with you Hunnybunch..for Kumud's reaction I am also not that convinced completely ... I agree she is all upset and devastated because she thinks she has betrayal her parents trust.. she crossed her limit... but the way she first reacted after watching Saras.. as if he raped her.. "door raho muzase.." 😡 whats this...? I know she is all upset with what happened between them.. but saying PAAP and all... I am not saying to have S** before marriage is allowed but she over reacted for him.. poor Saras..😕
