She kinda went from barely holding hands to PMS without any of the other stages of intimacy in between..

Earlier with all the media frenzy, I kinda felt that CVs went for PMS stage in accelerated mode for trps... But then there was no visual depiction of anykind.. In fact it was not even the cheezy 2 flower depiction.. Just a garland and kumuds remorse the next day..

Therefore feel there is more to it..entire track is not trp related..this is building up to something...good or bad.. time will tell..

i hope that the cvz do not disappoint us more!

Veera, the thought is sick-making, I agree.

Saras (as enacted by the excellent Mr. Rode) is one male character on Indian TV that is possible to adore. His character has covered such a distance and developed so well over the three months of the show. What you have put in bold is painful to imagine..
In the process of weakening Kumud's character and portraying her in the rona-dhona drama mode, they are also putting Saras' character at risk... đź’”

Now i am trying to put things into perspective.it in an earnest attempt to digest and accept downfall of Kumud's characterisation.
The next day, if the lead pair were to remain joyous and at peace, SP would not be able to defend a dharna in front of their Office, protesting against influencing morality of Indian youth blah blah..
It is heartening to note that Saras's character has remained true to his skin,
Let us see how they are going to shape the soap now.

Adiani, I truly appreciate your attempt.

Guess it's a question of different strokes for different folks. I would not watch any of the high-drama high-TRP shows because they dont appeal to me...I did watch a repeat of the Kumud crying scene... if you only watched that outpouring of emotion, and knew nothing else, it looked like she or Saras had done something against her wishes. I find that totally against the grain of this show, its characters and its sensibility... Very uneasy viewing.

Rahein maryada mein apni, ya khul ke jee lain hum yeh pal

Mardon ko moh ka shrap hai

Aurat ko maryada ka vardan

We live in conflicting times

There are some issues and dilemmas we face when

The lines between right and wrong are sometimes blurred

What feels right to our heart is right,

and if we cannot look at ourselves in the mirror , then what we did is not right

For some the purity of intention is how they judge their actions

Others, judge themselves by the righteousness of their actions

This was exactly what happened with our Saras and Kumud

What happened between them

IMO, was not a sin,

A transgression of rules set by society, yes,

but a sin? No.

Saras loves Kumud

What happened between them

Was a natural consequence of this love

These moments were precious and beautiful

And he will always treasure them

Spiritually they are married

And for him that made it right!

Kumud loves Saras

But she has a strong sense of moral duty

Of social right and wrong

Her upbringing has taught her that crossing the lakshman rekha is a sin

She gave in to her feelings last night

Now she is consumed with guilt

I loved the episode

The conflict, the pain of Saras, the shame of Kumud

The distance created because they came so close

Today I felt immense respect for Mr Saraswatichnadra, the man

If the joy of shared moments was his

Then he will take the pain of its consequence also

If Kumud was with him in pleasure

Then he will be with her in penance too👏

Episode rating - 10/10 - for the parallels in the two marriages

One was a samajik vivah, and the other was niji vivah

And that makes all the difference!

Jen, gauti - 10/10

Dekhna Zaroor, dil aur dimaag dono ko hila dega

bahut serious ho gaya,

aaj thodi masti toh banti hai

Kumud aur Saras ki suhaagraat thi bhai

Sejal karne se Pehle ro rahi thi

Kumud kar ke ro rahi thi!

Sirf Rona dhona dekhne ko mila

Jo dekhne ki tamanna thi

Woh to dikhaya nahi

Sanjay ji cheating!!!

@psam4

Thank you so much dear for your appreciation, on behalf of all the names you have mentioned

We all are united by a common thread and that is our love for this show and I am very happy that you enjoy CB so much

I know this forum is an English forum, but I think mainly in Hindi, so poetry in English is rather difficult for me.

But let me try to translate it for you, it will not a very good translation, so please forgive me that

The fragrance of your breath, your tresses like dense clouds

Love is in the air, and my heart beats out loud

We are like two shores of a river

Separated by water pristine and pure

Should we succumb to this lure

Or remember the ties of maryada

Should we wait for ties of holy matrimony

And the blessings of elders

Or do we give in to our feelings

With trust in our love

True, tis love that we feel

But within the bounds matrimony of what is called love

Can bring tears of regret, without

Poor job, but I hope you get the essence !

Happychappy, exactly! I feel like, Mr. Rode's statement that soon male characters will have larger significance in Indian TV is also being put at risk by this, because again, it will put him in the backdrop and put Saraswatichandra as a character in a similar position to that of other male leads in other tv shows... Indefinitely, when Kumud's character is weakened, so is Saras'... so putting them both through so much without adequate background info (referring to the straight jump from washing feet to crying uncontrollably) I believe spoils the three months of laid down foundation!
