Prem Parinay Pashchatap

Pyaar pavitra hai, par, Kathin bahut yeh sawaal hai

Parinay ke iss ore prem hai, uss ore pashchatap hai

Mardon ko moh ka shrap hai

Aurat ko maryada ka vardan

We live in conflicting times

There are some issues and dilemmas we face when

The lines between right and wrong are sometimes blurred

What feels right to our heart is right,

and if we cannot look at ourselves in the mirror , then what we did is not right

For some the purity of intention is how they judge their actions

Others, judge themselves by the righteousness of their actions

This was exactly what happened with our Saras and Kumud

What happened between them

IMO, was not a sin,

A transgression of rules set by society, yes,

but a sin? No.

Saras loves Kumud

What happened between them

Was a natural consequence of this love

These moments were precious and beautiful

And he will always treasure them

Spiritually they are married

And for him that made it right!

Kumud loves Saras

But she has a strong sense of moral duty

Of social right and wrong

Her upbringing has taught her that crossing the lakshman rekha is a sin

She gave in to her feelings last night

Now she is consumed with guilt

I loved the episode

The conflict, the pain of Saras, the shame of Kumud

The distance created because they came so close

Today I felt immense respect for Mr Saraswatichnadra, the man

If the joy of shared moments was his

Then he will take the pain of its consequence also

If Kumud was with him in pleasure

Then he will be with her in penance too👏

Episode rating - 10/10 - for the parallels in the two marriages

One was a samajik vivah, and the other was niji vivah

And that makes all the difference!

So this is 'THE Tweak' they are coming up with the 'blame- share' for separation. As suspected, 'the union' is being turned into raison de etre for upcoming schism! Guman needs not do much now, for managing some Saras hold up manuveres...and they are shifting major part of the 'blame' on Kumud. From now onwards dynamics are changed...but i admit, can not analyse her well. Will Ladies please help throw some lights on her? Till yesterday, as I was defending, her shame could have been over breaching an innate parental trust. But why is she becoming hateful to Saras? I sympathise with Saras somewhat today. He is not demeaning a beautiful relationship. Why is she?? she is really beyond me today😕...CVs please explain her better.😲

By the way, a fine episode nevertheless.

And arshi your fine explanation makes me see her better...though first I wanted to give vent...

ok, Today I am going to be the first one...I am in totally bashing mood after watching this "Paap" episode.

Aurat ko maryada ka vardan

Seriously...since when...may be since women started thinking this way.

I loved Saras today...he is in love with his soul mate...he didnt do anything wrong...they both have no dooriya now...Loved this.

Kumud, please I am totally disappointed. You are crying like he Ra*** you. If you were so much into "Maryada" why did you remove 4 kadam dooriya. You should have kept it...where did "Maryada" go when he kissed your hands.

I didn't like today's episode...just because the way Kumud reacted. I understand if their love is not known to everyone and they con***, I can understand the guilt. Except marriage functaion...they were already oen for each other...even Dugba said it too...Kumud you shouldn't have called it "paap".

Over all rating 5/10

For Kumud: 2/10 (2 is for emoting "paap" expression very well)

For Saras only: 10/10

Smrth the key is in the line - men are cursed with seeking pleasure, women are given the duty to uphold morality

It is so deeply ingrained in a girl's psyche that pre marital sex is a sin, that it is hard to come to terms with it

She is pushing away the very feeling that caused her to lose control, she should have known better she feels

Now if we connect some more dots, social approval has always been high on her list - the whole proposal was a part of the same.

She is ashamed, because that is what is taught to girls , that it is shameful

Yes, if Guman keeps Saras away, cuts off contact, then rift created by guilt could become huge

One nasty fear since last night - could pregnancy become the reason for marriage to Pramad, don't kill me, just voicing my fears

Yes, that indeed remains to be seen,. For now, not sure of anything, hunnybunch

I guess it will also depend on how Guniyal will handle it, what she will say to Kumud

@arshicritic- what I don't get is that if she upholds the values taught to her so much she wouldn't have given in into those feelings. No matter how much carried away you get.. you always can stop it... you can always say NO.

I understand that for her its a huge deal but there are better ways to deal with it... discuss it with Saras.. let him comfort you rather than acting like he fking raped her! not done... its not fair to Saras.
