"Nadi saagar se milne kyu jaati hai?" (Why does the River flow towards the Ocean?)
"Surajmukhi humeshaa suraj ki taraf hi kyu dekhtaa hai?" (Why does the Sunflower always face the Sun?)
"Aur yeh paro, apna swaabhimaan, apne kul ki maan mariyaada - sab kuch chod ke raat ke is waqt, apne Dev ke charno mein jagah maangne kyu aati hai?" (Why does Paro come to her Dev, heedless of her dignity, family's honor and everything, in the darkness of night and ask for refuge?)
"In saare sawaalon ka sirf ek hi jawab hai..." (There's only one answer to all these questions')
What a beautiful yet realistic portrayal of "Pyaar" - done the classic SLB way!❤️
Kumud didn't hesitate the first day, nor today. There she was again, fanning - more like showering her love on him. One of the most endearing quality about Kumudsundari is her honesty and forthrightness. However, this time, words seemed to fail her as she tried over and over again to make him say what she's been waiting to hear for a long time. This time it was Saras' turn to match her openness and the new found Saras did just that. 😃
Kumud: Pehle meri baat ka jawaab do, kya dekhte ho meri aankhon mein? (What do you see in my eyes?)
Saras: (leans in without hesitation) Pyaar! (3 cheers for the BG music)
Her Methi ka ladoo finally brought out his sweet side, even teased and tricked her into expressing her feelings. So of course, our dear Kumudsundari proudly and confidently announced her love for him. Saras on the other hand has always been beyond words. His actions and expressions speak volumes. But this newly found Saras took a step further, opened up the way she wanted him to and embrace her, embraced life! I've seen hugs, and this was not just any hug. It was a moment of pure love and its acceptance. ( Sidenote: I don't know how Kumud managed to hold herself together. I would've melted into a puddle of tears if I were her.. kaash!☺️)
SLB's movies are the epitome of such pure and intense emotions and this scene definitely lived up to the expectation. Along with emotions, his movies have a sense of grandeur that takes the emotions to a whole new level. While this scene lacked such lavish display, the expressions and divine backdrop of Krishna-Radha Milan, more than made up for it. Kudos to the entire SC team for bringing this magic onto the small screen. Can't wait to see more of such classic SLB moments! I would have commented on the rest of the episode, but quite honestly, I can't remember what else I saw!
