Again a sparkling episode! Script, Screenplay, Camera, BG and above all BOTH of them!👏 Aaaw able writers of our forum, please give us these scenes with your insightful analysis- to muse over them again...few salient scenes worth your pens;

  • VC-Kumud-Saras: not only for his keenest attentiveness to her slightest pain- look at the tenderness- (a word I am going to use again and again today!)- while nursing her hurt toe. And her painful attempts to shun... Before that, also for no OTT overstretching of his 'gallantry' in between father and daughter. They sorted it out on their own, as it should be. Good script.👍🏼
  • Four step scene; in its unusual dramatics Cvs introduced a lovely stratagem; to show them 'more and more close' for all those four steps! 😃And first time clearly putting on him a self confession, ' what I am feeling for you..."😉 Also, she reminds him, "Will we be able to stay separate?" They know about each other's feelings pretty well!😳 Also before all that Kumud's dignified response to Gumaan.
  • Guniyal's explanation, Dukh baa's hopes; G soundly expressed a mother's valid concerns on her daughter's aroused hopes. Also she clearly said, "No complaint to Saras. It's his right to choose!"👍🏼

Of course the scene of the episode, Dinner tray scene:

  • The way he becomes happy at seeing her bringing him the food, he looked satiated before even eating!😊 His tender calls, 'Kumud',Kumud' (actor must have worked well to achieve this delivery. He renders such a soft, tender modulation to this single word! It sounds noble and caring.)😛
  • And Flowers!...Even at 'four steps' he was all careful!..." Lest a stem or a thorn scratch you! Lest a dolt flower may bruise you!! Lest even petals hurt you!!! Princess!"😳😳
  • Princess scolds him. He reminds her 'some one's four step edict' with a pout!😆 But then seeing his extended pout on food she scolds him again, " At Ilaben's you had fed me trickily. Now don't lie today and Eat!"😡 😆( Snnn,, Snnn, Snnn that was new BG! I liked it). So she knew his trick then!😲

Good light filled moments Cvs. You are again picking up the touch that had been somewhat slipped in Gau hatya Track.😆

Add; last scene in Kitchen; despite breaking up, why are they shy speaking each other's name in presence of others!😳😆 She referes, 'unhe' jeejaji mat kaho. He mentions, 'tumhari didi' !😆

So four step vrat was broken today only!😆 Looks like, Kumari and Kusum are going to witness 'hasty retreat'- two steps each?! And Kumari should have one more weapon to tease them everywhere!😉

Beautiful post. Absolutely agree with all your points. I loved today's episode. Admired very much the way GR called Kumud.

Just reminded of a similarity: In movie SC, there was a song on Letters and Flowers sent. So Cvs might have an idea from there and modified it as per today. Good one, whether inspired or not.

Ah yes, phool tumhe bheja hai khat main, phool nahi yeh mera dil hai. Its a beautiful, evergreen song. Its possible that flower scene today was inspired and modified. Good catch Samarth.

What a sweet way to wake up the princess. His smile after accomplishing mission 'wake up Kumud' was adorable. And he used red rose petals😃

Edit - tender is the perfect word to use for Saras esp the way he talks and deals with Kumud.

I recently watched the movie for the first time and that song is exactly what came to my mind when I saw that scene. Such beautiful emotions captured so well! Great post :)

I watched only part of Devdas so cant say for sure. But the snnn BG is not new. It has been played in some scene earlier as well. I will post here as soon as I can recollect where and when it was used.

Ok. But now as it is mentioned, it looks like from Devdas. Good. Movie has high quality.
Speaking on BG. 'Albela Sajan' was indeed from Hum Dil de Chuke..." sultan khan, Kavita...
