Hello kids,

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!😛 I am back again with my review despite the low response rate during the weekends. What to do, I really enjoy it and it is good to write for the people who respond with their own thoughts to my reviews. If you read these and enjoy them, please respond because it is a great encouragement. I am not seeking compliments or adulation, I simple want to talk about what happened this past week and how you interpreted it.

It was another happening week with a few major scenes that stood out.

1. Main swarthi nahi hoon - the strong response to the strong accusation. Self explanatory. His cool (sheetal) response to her scorching (teez) claim keep a conflicting duet going. Reminds me queerly about these video games from my childhood or even Harry Potter where one power fights off another and there's a major blast happening in the middle lol 😆

2. Saras goading Kumud with the challenge that she does not have the confidence to teach - smart move, considering that she was very close to snapping and turning toward him. We see the playful Saras gise pakarna ata hai! Meaning, he can take her hand. ☺️We later also saw that he was possibly one pretending not to know kite flying, so that was only excuse to spend time with her.

*** Special mention to the dear actor who plays Kumud's dad, Yatin (?), he was charming throughout, especially the scene where he says Saras should not give him so much love. What an adorable dad, involved but not annoying. You can really see how much he loves the two of them. Yatin stands as the strongest actor in the show in my humble opinion.

3. Saras and Kumud's kite lesson scene where poor Saras got swatted - Not once but twice! And he looked properly chastised. How cute are these two? Kumud sure has spunk. Most women are so busy playing nice that they never know how they truly feel when frustrated. She however, has so qualms and serves it when Saras really deserves it (for goading her into a trick to show her face). ONLY ISSUE - When did Guman send HER kites over for the kite flying? CVs reused the kites from Guman's scene 😒 and we knew CVs, we know. Also there were not using coated shiny papers to make the kites. Where are the colored paper kites? Don't cut corners, you are doing SLB's show. We expect excellence. Otherwise, good job with the chemistry.

4. Saras and Kumud kite flying and competition - I loved how Kumud waited for Saras to come up behind her before she moved into the meidan for the competition with the enemy. They love as it attached, the string (Saras) to the kite (Kumud in matching gold/orange). They continue this all the way through the running scene. She was going to take the kite from the winner and he followed. 😈 Partners in crime. Both acted really well in the kite flying scenes. Little things soon out, like the excitement in Kumud's face during the competition and Saras' following her with the roll of thread with equal excitement. Also the triumphant Saras scene where he asks Kumud if she has confidence in him now. He really looked adorable there.

5. Saras FINALLY sees Kumud and turns her around to fave the sunlight - This deserves as OMG because she looked so beautiful and he looked so smitten. Our trinket-loving Saras now has a face for the name aww. As I said before, he was about to get bitten by the love bug in week 1 and now in week 3, love sinks its teeth into him❤️. ISSUE - Kumud did not look angry enough or shocked enough at first. Just like she didn't look alarmed enough when she found out that she made Saras go into the suicide stream. Jenny is cute as a button and perfect for the role, but her acting sometimes falls through (1% of the time only). This needs some better direction.

6. Best scene of the week - Saras going into the stream at Kumud's revenge goading now. Brilliant acting by Gautam and that screaming really was a tear-jerker. Oh dear, talking about heartbreaking screams. That was so well done. It was on par with the best of classic movies. Hats off! Gautam, you get a little star for this one ⭐️. No, take five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
The little boy's voice this time was really good, thank god they changed the voice. I was complaining about it the other day. This was much more authentic. The mother's scene was really good too, the sari was a little haunting. The suicide was very likely because of the dad's absence and cheating. She thought that at least without her around to trouble the dad's ambitions, he would at least take care of their son. She was right. But what a tough choice, it takes really will to drown yourself without the help of rocks to sink you. Selfish act too, especially leaving a helpless baby and that too right in front of him. But clearly, she had her demons as we will find out later.

7. Dukhba's baby - I was right in my week 2 prediction! He was brought up for the longest time by Dukhba and she treats him like her baby because she is Saraswati's best friend and took over from her. Saras knew that Dukhba and Gunian took care of him but in this scene it all came back to him. He realized that Dukhba was the one who saved him. The scene between mother and son was so beautiful. 😔 I love seeing how Saras soaks up all the love. He really craves affection. You can see this all the way through to Friday's scene where he comes home to Dukhba. Now excited about the showdown between the real mom (Dukhba) and "mom" (Guman). No doubt they hate each other and Dukhba will be the one to protect the Kumud and Saras from Guman's games because she adores them both.

8. He had only broken the engagement, but I broke him - beautiful line there. Forgot to give special mention to this one.

Awaiting your thoughts! 🤗
