Hey, as I said I was waiting for a post from you because I really enjoy your writing style, and it gives well, me a good reason to stay busy rather then being impatient for the next episode😆.
1. "Main swarthi nahin hoon" I thought it was played very well by Saras. He was accused and he knew that she wouldn't stand to listen to him if he tried to clear that accusation to her personally. He was just talking away with his Kaka, and then suddenly he heard her kamarbandh...or whatever it is called, and he immediately knew that with her father being there he can clear that misconception. It was played very intelligently and the message was definitely conveyed to the right person.
2. Haye, I really enjoy these little bickerings between them. As they say love increases with the bickerings and that is exactly what we want from them. Nice, i never thought that perhaps in anger Kumud might turn to look at him. Although, I must say, Kumud has done a really good job not showing her face to him. Usually whenever someone is talking, or enters a room, it is a natural response by us to look at the person. Whereas, Kumud controlled that response and tried to remember that I am not to turn when he enters, or talks. I kinda knew that he was fooling around when he said he didn't know how to fly a kite, but even then i was almost fooled by his act too.
By the way, yes the guy who plays Kumud's dad is a phenomenal actor. I remember him in many shows and also in Munna Bhai. He is fabulous and I especially love when he called Kumud " eh dobi"...during the kite festival. I am gujurati myself so it was pretty hilarious to me. However, being called dobi in front Saras would be annoying especially for someone like Kumud; however, she was busy trying to remember not show her face
3. During the Kite lesson, I loved how Kumud slapped Saras's hands, not once but twice😆, i think he himself enjoyed that too. I also love that Kumud doesn't act like someone else when she is in front of him. That just means that she has a very high self-esteem, and has a lot of self-respect in her. Usually those that are not confident about who they are, they have to pretend to be someone they aren't. Here Kumud doesn't care, she will give tit for tat😆. She is who she is, take it or leave it...and i love that about her.
4. The actual competition was a complete enjoyment. I too loved how Saras got up confidently to be with Kumud. Just like how a string follows the kite, Saras (string) followed his (Kumud). I also loved how Kumud knew that he was right behind her and immediately reacted with a "pakdo" and gave him the manja.
5. I loved when they finally saw each other face to face. Especially when Saras tells her that her voice pulled him all the way from Dubai to India then imagine if he saw her...and then immediately just stopped to take in her beauty. I don't know but when he suddenly came up behind her and held her hand, she didn't look that shocked and I think maybe because she was caught off guard..with trying to get a hold of her kite...however when he grabbed her hand she did jerk a little. I think that instead of reacting in shock, she herself was mesmerized by his eyes...and so she had a little smile on her face as well. She herself I think was tired of hiding around and now that she was seen by Saras, she didn't really care. It was a game to her, and he won...and she was kinda okay with it for that moment.
6. The lake scene was extremely heart wrenching. It brought tears to my eyes. Gautam was brilliant. His screaming "maa" was filled with soo much pain...that we can all feel lit. It was hands down the scene of the week.
7. Dukhbaa coming to Saras's rescue was definitely a shocker. SC definitely didn't forget anything from his past. He was sooo effected by his past that he remembered each and every detail. Their scene was just beautiful. I loved Dukh baa and how she cuddled Saras into her arms like her baby. Hmm, so that motherly affection woke up in her. She had to run to him, she had to run for her son.
8. Kumud talking to Kusum scene on Friday was also a very powerful scene. The dialogues she used were very good. It was like he just said no to her marriage proposal, but she broke him into pieces...now she had to pick him back up. Now she is going to have to heal him. She opened the wounds of his past which were never real healed, and now she will have to understand them and become his healer.😳
Well with such a write up, I think you deserved a good discussion. Please forgive me for any grammar mistakes I did this in a hurry. Now dinner time😆 see ya later.
