OS-01 Ethereal Longing

The wintery aura of the night was spilling an enchanting hue. Within the darkly lit room sat Kairi with admiration in her eyes.
Her golden necklace sparkling with the tinge of moonlight.The jingling noise of her anklet creating an ecstatic atmosphere for a certain someone.
She was talking non-stop about some certain things that were not grabbing his attention. He was busy admiring the subtle motion of her lips.
Her lowly hanging golden ear rings caught every bit of his attention. Yet the slightest stammer in her speech did not go unnoticed by him.
"Are you listening Mr. Sinha?"
A question capable enough to put the dusky man on board. The air stung for a brief moment with minimal awkwardness just before Yug broke the silence.
"Yes I'm listening!"
The voice could never be mistaken. An authorative downpour of masculine aura. A voice redefined with utter strength and capacity, capacity to put the beautiful young lady infront into greater distress. His favorite pass time was to bother her.
A smirk played its role on his lips as he noticed her cheeks going red with embarrassment. She chose to play brave. And looked straight into his eyes with utter confidence.
"Then would you please reply to why you're doing this to him?"
A pin drop silence crept throughout the studyroom. A strange sensation of usual calmness on his face irked her. She wondered what reasons he would put forward this time.
"Doing what to whom, Kairi?"
She knew he was playing with her and that fact alone irritated her like nothing else.
"This isn't funny Yug!"
The smirk on his face widened as he intently stared at her. He started getting up off the chair, twirling the chair just enough to frustrate her further.
"Hmm.. So it's Yug now.. I see.. No more Mr. Sinha huh?"
He started closing the distance between them as he murmured to himself. Kairi grew irritated with anticipation as he came further nearer to her.
But instead of stopping in front of her he walked ahead frustrating her to an ultimate level. She threw her hair off her shoulder in a dramatic way. Infuriation plastered on her face.
He walked off to a spot near the window. His face devoid of any wrinkles. A crease of bliss lingered on his face for a little longer than needed. His appearance made no justice with his age.
His crisp off white shirt hugged his perfect body, jawline sharp enough to cut through any material. And face handsome enough to bewitch any woman in the world.
He stopped near an antique teapoy table, a brown wooden print adorned the teapoy and it held a Carvaan radio on top of it. Yug switched it on, an antique piece of retro bollywood took over the empty and silent atmosphere.

Kairi flinched at the sudden fill in the space. The soothing silence was now replaced with a soft melody. A melody well known to both of them. Kairi started humming with the lyrics. She got up from her seat and started walking off to the window.
The maroon tangail cotton saree engulfed her in a perfect fit. She was taking slow steps towards the window humming the song with zero effort, as the lyrics were some mantra she recited on a daily basis.
"Do you think you can escape just by playing a soft melody?"
The sudden query caught him off guard. He turned around to face her. His eyes scanning her body with an insane intensity. Sanity had disappeared from his eyes and an insanity was taking over her.
Instead of answering her he started humming the further lyrics with practiced ease.

Her steps faltered a little as she heard him sing a song. It was unusual, completely unbelievable, yet she blushed giving him a sign of acceptance. He did things to her, things which were once not expected of him.
She went close to him, yet maintained a safe distance. Her movements were clumsy and fragile. She stared at the moon with a smile on her face.
Yug closed the distance between them as he planted a chaste kiss on her cheek. Kairi's eyes widened with minimal shock and she looked up to him. His face was glowing with a different tint under the moonlight.
"So this is how you turn the tables? you won't answer huh?"
Kairi's voice now held a tinge of rudeness. She placed her hands on either side of her waist and huffed with fake frustration. Yug smiled at her antics and placed his hands on her hands that were situated on her waist.
Her eyelashes fluttered with expectations as he pulled her closer. She blushed at the sudden romantic gesture, and lowered her eyes with the flow of stimuli. A casual flirtatious grin adorned her lips as she put her hands on his cloth clad chest.
Yug whispered near her ear, "I am the reality Kairi, the me outside your reach is the real Yug Sinha and the one holding you close right now is an infatuation that you have created. This infatuation does not exist for anyone else except you."
Kairi scrunched her eyebrows with confusion.
"This doesn't answer my interrogation."
"It does."
"You're so irritating!"
She huffed with exaggerated infuriation, and in return he chuckled in his deep husky voice. He brought his lips closer to her face, her eyes fluttered with an underlying shyness.
The view was scenic for both of them. The moonlight infiltrating from the window casted an insane curse on them, the curse to love each other beyond any boundary or obstacle.
Yug locked his lips with her as she wrapped her arms around his neck. She leaned on to his touch, the touch lingering on her shape a little longer than required. A passion to fill the voids within each other took over them as they deepened the kiss further.
They shared their moment as the melody continued spreading its charm in the background.
