Well take a bow Nivi (please tell me if it's okay if I call you that). The way you wrote Kabir's feelings and thoughts was absolutely poetic. It broke my heart to read the heartfelt words that he said. This is one thing that I really missed on the actual show. They showed how KT loved Rachna and was willing to let her go just because he didn't want to separate her from her family, but they didn't show the inner turmoil that he himself was facing. They didn't show the in between story of how KT dealt with the pain of forcefully abandoning Rachna at the alter because of his mother's manipulating words. I wanted to know if KT ever figured out his mother's evil intentions but they never made any mention of it. But I digress. Coming back to what you wrote I have to commend you for the beauty of your words in expressing Kabir's emotions. You far surpassed the level of the show in that department. I am intrigued to find out what is written in that book that Rachna has just handed Kabir. It seems to be something that will clear up all the misunderstandings between them I hope.

Aarti

PS: Okay so I just got the message that new members cannot post more than 10 times in 24 hours (there is clearly a glitch in the system though because it let me post 11 comments), so sadly I have to stop my blabbering for now. I definitely cannot wait for 24 hours to continue reading this story though so I will just go ahead and read while typing my comments into a word document. I guess I can post everything together 24 hours from now.

PPS: Here is what I had written for the next part (chapter 11 I think it was).

I think that was the best part of this story that I have read so far. I can only hope that there are more well written parts to come but this one truly moved me to tears. You had expressed Kabir's pain so well in the last update that I honestly had no idea what to expect in this part, but I hope it's enough to say that you did exceedingly well. It was a brilliant move to write this part the way you did because it showed Rachna's perspective in several different ways. This was a much more touching way to show her feelings than having her just say the words aloud. The two small entries about the baby and miscarriage were just heartbreaking. You wrote it extremely well. I don't know if you have ever experienced such a thing in your own life but you managed to capture the emotions perfectly I think. As for the small bit where she confessed her growing love for Kabir, I think it was so amazing the way you wrote her feelings. She was so satisfied with every decision she had ever made and every failure that she had ever faced because her life's journey led her directly to Kabir and that made everything worth it for her in the end. Also, the fan-girling about SRK was totally something I could relate to. It was kind of a been-there-done-that type of moment for me. It makes me wonder if you too have experienced the SRK fever phase in your life. Like I have said before, please excuse me if you think I am saying too much. Feel free to shut me up at any point in time.

Wow Nivi, a Tale of two Updates😊
I read chapter 53 with a smile on my face the entire time. Hard to pinpoint what I loved more than any other, but the smile did get a little bigger with the Old Spice reference, solely for personal reasons. Very descriptive and thoroughly enjoyable. Love, love, love Kabir in this chapter.
And now Chapter 54...I get it I really do, but like RaBir wrote, it was so painful to read, but totally understandable that Kabir has these feelings. I'm certain though that you will have our couple work through their issues in advance of their vow renewal.
Looking forward to the next update Nivi!

ohhh my god,
what a beginning, he couldnt think about what she is talking he was busy in checking her out😆

how can you describe it soo well, poor kt schocked to see his wife in this situation...
im not suprised, you are just tooo good👏
now back to story, 😊
i can understand rachna , i had the feeling that she is thinking about kt more than herself, because she want to give him this happiness to be a father...even when he didnt mentioned it she knows him too well what he feels...
dont know why but i liked it how he said, that Having a child isn't what defines us..

and loved it more how she said You and me makes us but it doesn't make a family..

great way to write it like this...
sooo at last it is out from him, how he feels in all this, about his mother, brother about all his family members...

but i didnt like it how he said, if she is blind to everything besides her own feelings,
i dont think that she deserved it, because we could see in this part, all her fears is just that she cant give this happiness of a child to kt, im tooo excited to know how they will clear this air..
dont let us wait tooo long...

its always a pleasure to read your work😉

Rachna figured out the truth of how she managed to sign the divorce papers and that leads me to believe that Kabir's mother is definitely involved in her parents' accident. Since you gave a hint that Karan was in London all along, perhaps it is Gayatri herself who did the accident and planned out the entire charade of the out-of-court settlement just so she could separate Rachna and Kabir. However, I get stuck at the bit about Kabir and Rachna's marriage being a secret from everyone so how would Gayatri have known about it then? Also, while it was good to see Rachna figuring the truth out about the divorce papers, how could she even for a tiny moment think that Kabir willingly sent them to her and that too secretly? He just expressed a little earlier how much he had pined for her in the last 11 months and how much he missed her so why would he be here to talk things out if he is actually as shocked about the divorce papers as she is? But I'm so glad they just talked about it and at least now Kabir has all the details regarding the accident and legal case against it. I have a feeling that you are going to put in this huge twist with all this, so maybe Karan actually did do the accident and has been lying to his brother about being in London. I don't know. I'm just making crazy predictions right now since you have thrown me into a loop where I can't seem to see how all these matters are related and will be resolved. I should just stop thinking shouldn't I? And just read ahead?

To respond to your small note before the update (even though I'm so late), I almost stopped watching the show when I heard that news about Rachna and KT's marriage being called off, but I stuck with it because I just couldn't bear the thought of leaving the show midway. Coming to the update, I'm glad that the misunderstanding regarding Karan doing the accident is sorted and it's confirmed that he didn't do the act. I loved Kabir's undying support for his younger brother and how just one look into Karan's eyes was enough to convince him of his brother's innocence. The conversation between Sneha and Kabir seemed a bit lackluster to me, especially after seeing all the amazing moments you have written before, but it may just have been me expecting too much. I worry now about who this mystery person watching over Rachna, Kabir, and Karan is since it doesn't seem to be giving me any good vibes.

Oh wow, so an FF can also have a song sequence? That was a surprising treat to read and you described the dance movements so well that I could literally see them in front of my eyes. It's tough to do that but you managed to pull it off so kudos to you. It seemed like a filler update otherwise though, but I'm not complaining since a re-budding romance between the recently reunited couple is certainly necessary to give strength to the relationship. The title of your story fits pretty well here, since Rachna and Kabir have reunited and nothing has really changed between them so it is True Love. I liked the last bit where you described them at the beach and they were so comfortable with each other that neither of them had to say anything. I'll share a little personal anecdote with you. I recently just got married (8 months ago is kind of recent right?) and I think the true comfort between a couple shows when both of them are comfortable with silences. So I found the last scene to be quite true to real life and I thank you for putting that in there.

That was such a cute coincidence that both Rachna and Kabir are at the wedding of their respective best friends, who are getting married to each other. The color coordinated outfits was also a bit of a cute surprise. The way you described Rachna's lehenga and accessories was enough to have me create a picture of it in my head. You are so good at creating the perfect mood and describing the setting to make the whole chapter raise up to another level. I'm quite hooked onto this story and I cannot stop reading chapter after chapter. It's Friday night here and instead of going out to dinner with my husband like he proposed, I'm sitting here reading and catching up on the chapters. I think my husband is a bit pissed off right now but it's so cold here that it makes more sense to just stay in bed and snuggle with this story than get dressed up to go out for dinner. Perhaps I should invite him to snuggle and read with me, though he absolutely hates anything related to the Indian shows that I watch, I think he might appreciate how well written this story is. I will let you know if he is willing to read.

That was such a happy update. Good things happening all over the place. The conversation at the park was a good one and you completely shocked me with the fake divorce paper revelation. I too have the same questions that were raised by the characters in the update. I guess I was right earlier in thinking that this entire matter is more complex than it seems. Coming to the announcement of a vow renewal ceremony for Rachna and Kabir as well as Pihu's pregnancy, I was delighted for both. So are you going to give us a whole grand filmy wedding to finish off this story? I'm tempted to read your more recent updates to find out whether you discuss the marriage, but that would ruin a lot of the suspense I think so I will just go through chapter by chapter until I finish.

Oh my goodness I can completely relate to the stresses of wedding planning. I still shudder whenever someone mentions it. Thankfully there was nowhere near 1000 guests at my wedding but yes there were a lot of people that my parents invited that I have only met once or twice in my life. Anyways, it seems like the story is moving full steam ahead and the wedding between Rachna and Kabir will definitely happen since they have already started planning for it. It will be a treat to read how you portray their wedding since you do such a good job of setting up the surroundings and describing outfits that I can see it in front of me like I am watching it on television. The part at the end about Kabir hitting that dude Nikhil seems fishy to me since I think Nikhil may have said something untoward about Rachna. I hope Rachna finds Kabir soon and nothing bad has happened to him.
Best,
Aarti
