Hey I would firstly like to say thank you for opening this thread/poll
I think that we should not compare WESTERN channels with INDIAN channels sinc,e at one time such scenes were a big ho ha when seen on Bollywood ,but now all that has changed and bollywood shows these types of scenes. As small screen indian television these things shouldnt be shown because - many familys watch these and these are not a good encouragement for younger viewers. The Indian televison was all good when everything was kept to a certain extent. Now as the generations change so does what is on television.Kissing scenes are not appropriate on indian television ...The question is Have we forgotten our culture and values.Showing these things on indian tv proves that everything is becoming so western and many cultures are losing their culture. So just because disney channel in AMERICA shows this stuff doesnt make it slright to show it on indian televison. If people want to see these scenes i would suggest go watch American films.

Im not at all annoyed with ut because kisses are kinda normal to me and indian telly takes things too seriously. Like whats the big deal. But!!!! Im shocked a hell it happened in a good way!!!! I think its the first time any show showed a REAL KISS on screen. Kissed are usually faded away or turned faces but this was LEGIT! And um shocked bu happy that thibgs are finaly progrssing in indian telly! Way to to sapne suhane team for doing something to shock viewers, and industry! Hopefully things will move forward now.

The only isue i have is though that yeh its a fam show so u kinda dont expect it and its awkward when watching with fam. however consudering te steamy romance scenes tht most shows do tese days, i dont get why this harmless kiss should get scrutinized. Look at bade ache lagte hai. THAT WAS AWKWARD to watch with fam. Soo kiss isnt that big of a deal.

Gonna play devil's advocate here. Isn't the Kama Sutra also Indian culture? There are many mandirs where sexual acts are openly carved on the walls for all to see. Are we just going to ignore that? Honestly, I think that a little physical affection is far healthier a thing for younger viewers to watch than the constant verbal abuse women receive from their own family members in so many saas-bahu shows and the cattiness and the deception.

Lots of serials show sex scenes nowadays, including Kasamh Se back in 2006. This was a clean kiss, just a few seconds, and quite innocent also. I definitely feel much more embarassed watching the gruesome rapes and murders shown in serials, than this kissing scene.

Oh and frankly with all the overreactions, people need to realize that india is such a hypocrtical society. Its alrght if they pop out children every five minutes overpopulate te country (wonder how that happens btw) but it isnt okay to how a five second on the lips kiss between to growing actors? Its okay to watch close but no cigar hard core romance scenes and rape scenes but its not okay for a mini kiss where they arent even making out! Its okay if ranbir kapoor and emran hashmi kiss and romance their actresses cause its a film and allowed but its not okay for these two actors? Why because people watch with teir families? REALLY!!? if its so awkward o wych with fam then dont watch with them. I think its as simple as that. And honestly we live in the 21st century for godsakes. You go to india right now everyother nook ad crany you see young lovers kisisg and showing PDA, and these are actors! Like i rlly dont get the fuss. If its a huge problem for some people then franky speaking dont watch. Pretend its an "adult bwood movie" and dont buy a ticket.

I apologize if this came out rude it isnt meant to be. Jst constructively critisizing the backward indian thoughts im witnessing.

It was really nice kiss. I thought they would just touch lips but it was an actual kiss.

Congratulations to the CVs for pulling it off.

It was a refreshing change from all the atrocities they normally show on TV...i.e. Saas being mean and nasty to their bahus. Husbands dolling out all sorts of unacceptable behaviours. That is what people should be disgusted at and be embarrassed to watch with their kids not an innocent little kiss.

A sweet little kiss was very good to see! It is a natural part of life.

@ I don't buy that either, nor it's considered right.

@Red...ofcourse not. It isn't right and I am not saying TV should starting bringing in such extreme stuff, well it already did but anyway I was just comparing. TDP did sell, but that's another topic. Like somebody here said, this kiss is such a simple gesture, so natural, and it does happen in real life. Don't know why THIS would be awkward to see with parents, well depends on the comfort level. But this is any day better than watching Suhaag raat episodes. Plus this kiss WAS required in the script...the situation, these two have their moment and this is how their story will kickstart. It isn't a random kiss or a romantic moment to feed hormonal teenagers. That's why I didn't find this wrong at all.
