All i want to say is that if someone jumps of the cliff it doesnt mean we should all jump of too...implying that we are all individuals and if imran and ranbir do this thats them we need ro realise we were born alone and will die alone and we all have choices,so this doesnt make all this rubbish scenes right...we need to respect our elders and ourselfs

In REALITY people come close, get married and end up doing everything else but that doesn't mean they need to show it to us on prime time telly drama. Such things can be kept behind the closed doors or shown in different 'kind' of show/movie. Kissing is not wrong, showing it on TV in a show watched by all age groups is wrong. No one is interested to see it anyways.

Here are some choices of what there is on TV:

a) husbands being cruel, indifferent, rude, chauvinistic, physically abusive to their wives,
b) saas being all the above to her bahu.
c) stupid kitchen politics
d) other nonsensical kalakaries
e) an sweet innocent kiss which is the most natural and beautiful thing in a relationship.

For me this is a no brainer, I will always pick the e) the innocent kiss. Now everyone has a choice because our TV offers us all sorts of options. Zee was heavily advertizing this kiss so if people were embarrassed or didn't want to watch with their families then they didn't have to watch it.

I applaud Zee TV for choosing to show the kiss on TV. I for one absolutely LOVED it.

Thank you CVs.

It looks like we've placed option 'e' in the same league as option 'a to d', fair enough so here it goes -

a) husbands being cruel, indifferent, rude, chauvinistic, physically abusive to their wives, - Wrong!
b) saas being all the above to her bahu. - Wrong!
c) stupid kitchen politics - Wrong!
d) other nonsensical kalakaries - Wrong!
e) an sweet innocent kiss which is the most natural and beautiful thing in a relationship. - Wrong?? Well I guess it's placed in the same league so yes!

Basically if we can watch first four wrong deeds then we should not cringe away from watching option 'e' which is equally wrong. I rest my case 😆

Ironic 😆

The audiences that scream and squeal about a kiss, are the same audiences that laps up inappropriate item numbers in movies, which are all about celebrating the sex appeal of the chick as she thrusts her breasts into everyone's face.

Yes, same 😆 I hail from the Bollywood section, the same double standard-giri takes place over there.

I'm only commenting on the "Indian values" "Indian sanskriti" comments over here.

If celebrating a woman's sex appeal can fit in our culture, why can't a tiny symbol of love fit in?
Rather, why is the second one given such an an erotic image while the other is much more sexual in nature?

Umm... hypocrites are everywhere but why generalize? Numerous people have stopped watching bollywood movies cuz of the vulgarity shown in it. You won't see them in any bollywood forum but the number is huge.
