I have to celebrate that Bidaai gives us a clear message that inner beauty is more meaning full than outer beauty.

I know what Ragini has been through, due to her rang roop. I had the same experience. My parents were looking for me and every boy I went to see rejected me because of my looks rather than my personality. It hurt so much.

All the boys I has seen wanted a Trophy wife and the mother-in Laws wanted a Trophy daughter-in Law.

I was told by many of friends that I was wonderful person and the right guy would come along. He did he took me what I am and I am very happy.

So Ragini deserves someone like Ranvir after what she has been through humiliation and rejection like me and other girls and boys.

What I am saying the saying is true never judge a book by its cover.

I know, that is why I like this drama...

I have been shunned for my shortcomings one too many times. It hurts so much when someone doesn't want you or makes you feel like you don't add up to someone's expectations. I am getting old but no guy wants to be with me because of my looks. I do wish that I could find my Ranveer...

I hate society for persecuting women for everything under the sun...

Hi Folks!

I have been wondering about this since quite sometime now. I am glad that someone did bring this topic up. Though I have been lucky enough to have not gone through this rang roop issue when I was getting married. I did have quite a bit of an experience when my second daughter was born. As a matter of fact my hubby and me were praying for a second girl and one who is dusky. So we were very happy that our prays were answered. Apparently my husband is on the darker side and my second girl had taken up on her. People made me sick by talking how my li'l one would get a complex when she grows up since my elder one is very fair and that she will have low self esteem etc etc. I mean how could people think something like this about a baby. Since then my li'l one who is 19 months now has changed her colour and has become much fairer than my older one. What I am pointing out here is that this problem is so deeply rooted in our society. Though I am living abroad and people look to be quite modern and in time but certain perceptions do not change no matter whatever. When it comes to looking for a girl for their sons, the colour becomes the prime deciding factor. At every instance I end up in arguments with people around but to no avail. It is just difficult to make people look at things in the correct perspective. 😡😡😡
