Kokila's ego

Well it was wrong of Paridhi because she was going to leave Jigar's children behind and only take Jigar. If she wants to marry a man who has children, she must be willing to take care of the children too. They just recently lost a mother and can't lose a father too. Also, Jigar doesn't want to leave. Paridhi forcefully married him and forced marriages are wrong. He is willing to give her a chance but that doesn't mean she should separate him from the family he loves and who loves him. In India, marriage is not just between two people for them to abandon everyone else. It's between two families. Jigar comes with Tolu and Molu and Paridhi clearly said she has no plans to be a mother to them or "allow" them into her household. She's a selfish girl!

Also, joint families are quite common in Indian society. It's a cultural thing and for you, it might seem strange, but in India it's not strange at all. Nowadays, most people do live in nuclear families but joint families also exist. Personally, I feel joint families are a very beautiful concept and I would love to live in a huge family with aunts, uncles and cousins supporting each other. However, if the joint family is like the Modi family, then I'd be the first one out. 😆

I totally agree with what you are saying. If I was in Paridhis place and Kokila abused me like that, I would have punched her square in the face. Aree! Paridhi is a child, her intentions are good and well meaning.

Also, if I was married to some lady, I wouldn't want to live with her parents and likewise, she won't want to live with mine. I wish that someone would bruise Kokilas ego so bad that she will be ashamed to show her face to anyone.

Ahem is such a hypocrite. When Kokila was insulting Paridhis father, Ahem was silent. But when Paridhi and Gopi spoke against Kokila, Ahem got angry. Oh, so his mom can talk against others, but, no one can talk against her? Yeah, whatever. It is people like Kokila and Ahem who make all Indian people look bad.

In all actuality, no one should talk wantonly to others period and that applies also to Kokila and Ahem!

What???? Paridhi deserves a second chance??? After she sexually assaulted Jigs?? After she conned him into marriage a matter of days after his wife died??? After she admitted she is only interested in him and wants to seperate him from his kids??? After she tried to break Gopis leg??? After all the other stuff she's done (too much to mention). Paridhi did not drug Jigar, Radha did that. And Radha is just as conscious of her behaviour as Paridhi.

Only difference is Paridhi is a bachchu and her intentions are good, though the way she carries things out is wrong. Where as Radhas intentions are evil.

Paridhi was chasing/stalking Jigar even before Rashi died...she wants to take him away from his motherless children, regardless of who did the drugging she still slept with him knowing he thought she was his dead wife...sick SICK SICK dear cvs please get rid of this idiot character.

Paridhi's intentions are good? Really? 😲 To eye a man while his wife his alive, force him into marriage with her mere days after her death, con his family with her father so that they can get all the money, and then decide that she'll separate two already motherless children from their father? In what shape or format does Paridhi have good intentions? Her every intention is bad and the only reason she joined Modis in opposing Radha was becuase she wanted Jigar for herself. She cares nothing about Jigar's family.

There are also extended families in Western countries as well. They are rare, but, they do exist. 😊 In western culture, a marriage is between a man and a woman. When a person gets married, they get married to the other person, not to the persons family.

I don't think the person who opened this thread was insulting the Indian family system and neither was I. We were just saying in this part of the world, most married people in where we are from won't want to live with their in-laws. I sure wouldn't if I was married to some woman. I do like my privacy. 😉

Also, I missed the part of Pari chasing Jigs when Rashi was still alive. Yeah, that is weird. Sorry! 😳

But, I still think that deep down, Pari is good and well meaning. She is just immature and her wrong actions are merely a cry for help due to her not having a mother. 😳

Err I know perfectly well how western culture works thank you I'm born and bred in the uk. However this is not an episode of Eastenders or Hollyoaks. It is an indian serial made for india. Most indian families in the uk also remain joint families or at least the eldest son stays with and looks after his parents.
