Ahem called his P.A Nandu and asked him to find him a woman willing to have a no strings attached relationship with him. Nandu asked him for the "specifications" he was looking for- was he looking for Indian girls or those from eastern Europe…looks, age group etc etc. Ahem interrupted him and told him that he wants a glamorous actress- tv, film or theatre doesn't matter.

Nandu got worried and was about to say something before Ahem shut him up by asking him whether he hasn't heard about the casting couch? There are definitely some girls in the industry who have come through that route…They'll agree to our demands for money..bring me a list of them and I will have my pick.

His pick turned out to C-grade actress called Nikki Dulari (don't throw rotten eggs at me for coming up with this name). She had a loud mouth and crass attitude but to Ahem it was a welcome diversion…he had grown sick of Anita's sophistication and polished manners. Nikki was the exact opposite of Anita. She didn't have any offers in her kitty and hence had all the time in the world.

She didn't have any qualms about doing anything for money… Ahem could relax with her as there was no need for putting on the mask of sophistication in her presence. Absence of Koki made her son decadent. He hit new moral lows everyday and it was only a matter of time before his exploits became the staple of sleazy tabloids.

Ahem's vodka-guzzling wife came to know about it through a friend's maid and confronted Ahem about it. She was shocked by his brazen justification of his acts and asked her parents to take her kids away so that they don't see their parents quarrelling and hurling abuse at each other .

The news of Ahem's debauchery reached Gopi too but she listened to them with the nonchalance of an outsider. She no longer rued the failure of her past relationships, they didn't fail because of her. She was happy with her platonic relationship (as of now) with the half-English director Ryan Patel. He admired her talent and she loved his profound knowledge. They relationship might not culminate in a marriage but it was built on the strong foundation of trust and mutual respect.
