Ahem often took Nikki Dulari on business trips and in one such trip she caught the attention of Mungi lal ' a powerful politician . He asked his crony named Dracs Bhai to find out more about her. Dracs was a wimp of a man but still insisted on calling himself Dracula when he bore a greater resemblance to a tarantula. Nikki agreed to the terms and cast the net wider ..she took a new lover and didn't tell Ahem anything about it.

Ahem came to know about the new development quite late and decided to get Nikki back at all cost. His obsession with Nikki sent his life on a downward spiral, he lost all the astuteness he had and committed the greatest mistake of his career. That mistake was to get into an unnecessary confrontation with a politician in an attempt to keep his mistress exclusive to him.

Mungilal was the kingmaker in the state as well as the centre and wielded great authority over the state machinery. He wasn't the one to cow down to Ahem. It was a duel until death ' a matter of pride. There was an IT raid on Modi constructions and a significant number of documents were seized and accounts were frozen. The company was in dire financial straits but Ahem didn't surrender, he recorded the politician's trysts with women and gave it to TV channels to broadcast and sully his image. The clips were broadcast and it raised a furore in the state assembly'.but the ruling party tried to play it down and claimed that Mungilal's detractors have released a doctored clip.

It was payback time and very soon the local authority stopped construction on various projects of the Modis claiming that bye-laws were violated. A building was sealed and the Modi group lost both its reputation and a huge amount of money.

Parag didn't know why was the establishment baying for their blood---and Ahem didn't tell them thinking that he would salvage the situation. He couldn't ..and Modi constructions was deprived of government contracts too'the truth was brought to light by Anita , Parag and Koki were stunned to know about Ahem's recklessness'he put the company at stake'along with the jobs of the employees.

Gopi heard the news and felt sad about the downfall of Modi constructions...there was little she could do other than being a mute spectator...she had her own life to deal with- Ryan had proposed her...she had no connection with the Modis. Gopi Ahem Modi died long ago, she is Neelima Parekh and would soon be Neelima Patel. Ahem is a total stranger now. She had worked so hard to build a new life, she decided to put her interests first.

She decided not to talk to Ahem and make him see sense- he was anyway beyond help and disclosure of her past would ruin her present.

awesome update vidisha...ahem is coming across as pretty pathetic...now that the business is in ruins wonder what the modis are going to do...loved ur dedication to dracs bhai...poor guy is probably somewhere in a dark room,licking his wounds😆
