It was a pleasant Sunday morning...Anand had gone to meet his friends.
Gopi was tending the kitchen garden and Prabal was drawing on the bedroom wall. A hand touched Gopi and she was startled..she felt as if the touch had infused fear in her...she turned to see Ahem in a pale yellow kurta. ..he was looking fabulous but Gopi's eyes saw him differently...
She saw him as a man who would separate her from her son. Ahem told her that he wanted to meet his son. Gopi flatly refused and this made angry. Gopi didn't want her neighbours to gossip, so she asked Ahem to come inside the house and not make a tamasha outside.
Gopi was scared to be under the same roof as Ahem but she didn't have a choice. Ahem had refused to go and Anand had forgotten his cellphone. Once inside, Ahem sat on the sofa like a king and started quizzing Gopi about her life with Anand. Gopi refused to divulge the details. Ahem shouted at her for not returning to MM after the kid was born, a paternity test would have cleared the matter then and there...Gopi glared at Ahem angrily, she couldn't bear any more insult...she retorted by asking him what he would have done if Kinjal was in such a situation...would he have sent her back to Dhaval?
Ahem swept her views aside and told her that she didn't inform him because by then she was lusting after sundry men. Anand was the one she fancied the most so she entered into a sham marriage with him. Her marriage is illegal and that he will get Prabal's custody.
An inflammed Gopi threw a magazine at him and screamed that he had abandoned her and the child..she was thrown out without a thought...how can he come back after 2 years and ask for the child...
"Ahem Modi, you are worse than a kidnapper'
Meanwhile little Prabal walked in and started staring at his Mom and the stranger...Ahem rushed to hold him but Prabal ran to his mom. Ahem didn't give up, he went to the child and told him that he is his father..Prabal shook his head and said that he is lying and his father has gone out.
Ahem got angry at Gopi for "poisoning" Prabal's mind. He resolved to get his son back... He would separate Gopi and Anand and take the child away to MM...He didn't want Gopi to stay with Anand because it insulted his ego.
Anand came is when when Ahem was ready to go. Anand angrily asked him what he was doing in his house?
Ahem thought of a cruel idea and said that he was invited by Gopi. ... she is willing to service me and my clients..you know we have to satisfy our clients in all possible manner..this is just one of them..plus I have tasted the fruit...as you may know that it is heavenly...but trust me it has become even more divine now...my clients will surely enjoy being with her.
Anand was so angry that he almost pushed Ahem off the stairs, Gopi rushed to him and proclaimed her innocence and Anand said that he trusts her.
Ahem gave a loud and sarcastic laugh meant to taunt Anand and made his way to the car.
