wow, what a twist in the last 2 parts.. Ahem wants Gopi back for the sake of his son.. hypocrit Ahem !! Gopi should refuse to comeback.. I didnt like her idea of remarriage with Anand either !

Gopi and Anand return to Rajkot

Gopi packs her dress and Prabal's toys in Anand's car. She bids a teary farewell to her inmates. The elder women bless the couple and younger ones tease and congratulate them. Lata was happy that Gopi has finally listened to her advice and moved on to start a new life. Anand was a good man and he would surely respect Gopi's virtues.

Lata hugged Prabal and ruffled his hair...Prabal was the only child who would come close to Lata, the rest would get scared by her face which had been ravaged by acid. She had lost all hopes of starting a family of her own and derived vicarious pleasure in Gopi's happiness.

Gopi and Prabal moved in with Anand. He had a decent house, not as big as MM but large enough for the new family. Gopi and Prabal made the house a home. As soon as Prabal slept, Anand took Gopi's hand in his hand and kissed it. He vowed to be faithful to her and love her for the rest of her life. Gopi was moved by such a display of pure love. She had never experienced conjugal bliss so today was practically her first time.

Anand was gentle to her on the bed and she relished every moment of intimacy...She woke up in Anand's arms the next day...

Ahem woke up early and decided to meet his son before going to office...his sole concern was HIS son...Ahem had lost all interest in romantic relationships so he was glad that he had fathered a child...now he could turn his focus on work and Mom and Kaki would raise Prabal well..he had done his duty by providing the Modi's with an heir.

Ahem got the shock of his life when he learnt that Gopi has re-married an moved in with her new husband...he seethed in anger...he had thought that Gopi was exclusively for him...he drove his car to the address given to him. He didn't want his son to be raised by another man...he couldn't bear to even imagine his son calling someone else dad. ...

Anand opened the door and Ahem grabbed his collar. He shouted " you rascal where is my family? Do you think it is so easy to cheat me? Do you know who I am?"

Anand released his collar and said -"Yes I know who you are. You are a foul mouthed guy with indifferent upbringing. Your behavior tells it all". Ahem gets angry and they both enter a slanging match. Gopi comes to check the reason behind the noise and is shocked to see Ahem.

Ahem looked at Gopi and made his hatred apparent. He said "oh! here comes your keep - the epitome of chastity. Her name is Savitri isn't it?" My Mom had pulled a snake from the gutter and brought it home. How can a snake be faithful to its benefactor?

Anand asked Ahem to get out of his house or else he will call the cops.

Ahem gave a sarcastic laugh and said - " So, what are you planning to tell them? That I interrupted your session with a prostitute? Give me my son and I will go back. We come from a respectable family and I don't want my son to be brought up in a brothel.

Gopi replied even before Anand could react. Ahem was shocked to see Gopi speaking fearlessly. She was filled with anger... she moved Anand aside and confronted Ahem directly. "Mr Ahem Modi you had denied paternity of the child didn't you? Now why have you come here. Please go away, the child is not yours...you don't deserve to be around it. You had abandoned him even before he was born..and here you come after 2 years.

Go away..he is not your son. Wonder where do you get that confidence from? you are right I am s**t..no gentleman comes to a s**t's house to claim a child as theirs. Go back to your world Mr.Modi.

Ahem turned red with anger and left in a huff. Anand embraced Gopi who was sobbing inconsolably. He patted her and told - "Don't worry I am there with you. He seems to be one of those people who bark a lot but don't have the teeth to bite. I will protect you and our son from that scum"...Gopi looked at him with tear-filled eyes - Anand had said our son...yes, he is the father Prabal deserves to have.

Gopi knew very well that Ahem wouldn't accept defeat so easily. He had the means to trouble her...he has political clout...what should she do now? should they flee from Rajkot or stay back and fight the battle?...Anand reassured her that they need not flee from Ahem, they aren't weak and he for sure won't capitulate in front of Ahem...

Anand meant every word he said...he was Ahem's equal. The only difference between the two was that Anand's strong will is accompanied by a broad mind.
