😆he is kanjooos

wow so many replies...I just logged back in...lol...well wonder selections everyone...beautiful sarees out there...yet we get to see old maji type sari. I agree...the way it was wore also played a part in how it looked. But regardless, the color combo, the work...it was just way to simple for navratri. Usually in garba, the colors are red, black, oranges, greens, dark blues...some nice dark colors. So it didn't match the occasions at all. well...I hope Gopi gets a make over soon because she needs one in her daily look also. Maybe a change in how she wears saree...something...

i agree with this..the sari did cover the purpose of Aham buying the gift..this was his 1st gift to her where he made an effort to find something that suited her (actually this was the 1st instance in his whole life Aham has ever made an effort to match a clothes gift to anyone's personality)..

it was in my opinion the baby pink and soft white design beads were a perfect reflection of the opinion/image of gopi aham has in his head..aham finds her innocent n sweet like a baby as nafisa said..therefore he picked a sari which seemed to match her personality n which he most importantly thought she would like...
he never intended the sari to be a Navarathri wear.he never thought of all those details, his jealousy got the better of him and..he just wanted her to have a gift from him which would overshadow the pleasure she got from the designer's gift..

therefore i think they didn't make a mistake with the sari selection on Aham's side..it was just that sari wasn't meant to be worn n the Gujju style..if u drape it in the way rashi wears it, it'll look so much prettier..

so for me the sari they selected was perfect, if we put aside how it matches or not matches with the occasion n simply think about why aham selected it for her..

All you have said not matching function, Aham doesn't buy gifts normally, he doesn't know what's suitable for what function he was considering only her personality (what I said in the post you quoted), how Aham perceives his wife that is most important here and it should tell us the change in him, he doesn't perceive her as a gold digger anymore but a glowing angel (the thick white beaded pallu).
