Part 11
Kinjal came after a while and took the girls out and Aham, Gopi, Raj, Rahul and sameer headed to the boardroom for the presentation.
Rashi was jealous again seeing the importance which was being given to Gopi and she deliberately asked gopi a complicated question when gopi was done with the second part of the presentation. Rashi wanted to humiliate gopi in front of everyone but she did not realise that she had asked a completely irrelevant question. Gopi smiled coolly at Rashi and pointed out that she will answer the question even though it was irrelevant and everyone applauded gopi after she was done.
Gopi took her seat next to Aham again and he could not help but smile proudly at her. He knew she was good but he never expected her to be this good.
Raj: Well done Aham. Your presentation was perfect. SGC would be honoured to work with you. Shall we sign the contract now?
Aham: Thank you so much Raj. All this would not have been possible without angel though.
Gopi: Thank you Mr Modi, I think you guys should sign the contract now and then we can all have our lunch.
Raj, Rahul and Sameer followed Aham and Gopi to Aham's office once the contract was signed to have the lunch that Gopi had prepared. They all took their seats and gopi served them their lunch. She then took a seat next to aham and started having her lunch.
Rahul: This is too good angel.
Sameer: Haan angel, we really missed your cooking.
Gopi: Sirf cooking miss kia? Mujhe nahi?
Sameer: Tumhe bhi miss kia but I missed your cooking more.
Gopi: Dekho na Raj bhai yeh sam kya keh raha hai.
Raj: Ussey satana band karo sameer. He's just joking angel, you know how much we miss you.
Sameer: Kya raj bhai? App hamesha angel ka saath dete ho. So not fair!
Rahul: Sam jab tumhe pata hai ke tum angel se jeet nahi sakte to koshish kyun karte ho?
Sameer: Kya karoon rahul bhai? Aadat se majboor hoon. I just love messing with angel.
Aham was going to have some chutni that Gopi made as it was her brothers' favorite. They asked for it everyday and refused to have their food without it.
Gopi: Arey Mr Modi app woh mat khaiye. Doctor nai app ko teekha khane se mana kia hai.
Aham made a puppy face: Please angel bas thora sa dedo.
Gopi in a firm but gentle voice: No Mr Modi, jab aap theek ho jaenge to main aap ke liye bana doungi but you are not having it now.
Aham sulked and had his lunch quietly and both him and gopi missed the smile the three brothers exchanged.
They all chatted for quite some time after lunch and Aham noticed that it was already 3p.m. He invited all of them for dinner and said that Kinjal will bring the girls directly to his place after shopping.
Raj: Aham please don't feel bad but we won't be able to make it. Actually we...
Aham: I know you guys are only allowed to eat the food prepared by either your personal chefs or yourselves. That's why angel is going to cook tonight's dinner. Woh jab bhi hamare ghar ati hai to wohi khana banati hai.
Rahul: Phir to we'll be honoured to join you for dinner.
Gopi: I guess we should leave now Mr Modi kyunki agar khana waqt par tayar nahi hua to woh larkiyan pura ghar sar pe utha lengi.
Aham: You are right angel. So lets go guys, mere ghar chalte hain and we'll wait for the girls there.
Sameer: Don't you want to go to your flat and change first angel? Tum in kapron mein Mr Modi ke ghar jaogi?
Gopi: I've brought spare clothes with me Sam. I'll freshen up and change at his place. Lets go now.
They all left the office premises and reached Modi Masion in about 30 minutes as they were stuck in traffick. Baa, Koki and Hetal were sitting in the living room when all of them walked in. Aham introduced all the boys to Koki as his business associates but did not mention that they were gopi's brothers. They all took the ladies' blessings and took a seat in the living room.
Koki: Acha hua tum log jaldi agaye. Angel will have enough time to prepare dinner. Kinjal ka bhi phone aya tha and she was saying that they will be here in two hours.
Aham: Why don't you all freshen up? If you will please follow me, I'll show you the guest room.
Koki: Aur angel beta you can freshen up and change in kinjal's room.
Gopi: Ji maji main bas abhi ayi.
Gopi went to kinjal's room to take a shower and change and Aham took the boys to the guest room before going to his room.
Gopi came out wearing a white salwar kameez looking like an angel. She saw her brothers chatting with Baa, Koki and Hetal in the living room and there was no sign of Aham.
Koki: Tum bahut pyari lag rahi ho angel.
Hetal: Haan angel tum bilkul pari jaisi lag rahi ho.
Gopi smiled sweetly: Thank you maji and kakiji.
Baa: Yeh Aham itna waqt kyun laga raha hai?
Gopi: Main dekh kar aati houn baa.
Gopi went to aham's room and found him lying on the bed with his eyes closed. She got worried and rushed to him as she thought he was sick again. Gopi sat next to Aham on the bed and kept her hand on his forehead to check his temperature. Aham opened his eyes as soon as he felt gopi's touch and starred into her eyes.
Gopi: Kya hua Mr Modi? Are you alright? Doctor ko bulaun?
Aham crossed his arms and turned his face away sulking.
Aham: I'm fine angel and I'm not talking to you.
Gopi smiled at his childish behaviour and she turned his face back towards her and held his face.
Gopi:Kya hua? Why are you angry with me?
Aham: I really wanted to have chutni today and you did not let me have it.
Gopi: You promised me you will take proper care of yourself Mr Modi. You know how scared I was when you were sick. Agar aap ko kuch ho jata to? You never think about your health bas har waqt kaam aur aap ki zidd.
Gopi had started crying by now and she put her head on aham's chest and hugged him tight.
Gopi: Aap samajhte kyun nahi? I'm doing all this because I'm really worried about you. Why are you being so difficult?
Aham was stunned when gopi hugged him and started crying. He hugged her back tightly and tried to calm her down.
Aham: Sshhhh angel, I was just joking with you. I promise I won't overload myself with work aur bilkul bhi zidd nahi karounga. Stop crying now baby. I can't see tears in your eyes.
Gopi calmed down and realised that she was lying on aham's chest and hugging him tightly. She felt very safe in his arms, infact she had never felt this safe and peaceful before. She really wished she could tell him how much she loved him but she knew she had to wait for another month no matter how hard it was for her. She raised her head from his chest and looked into his eyes and Aham held her face and smiled at her.
Aham: I know it's hard princess but you've done so well the past two months and I'm so proud of you. We'll get through this last month as well and you'll always find me by your side. Now please give me one of your sweet smiles.
Gopi smiled cutely at Aham: I'll give you your clothes. Please freshen up quickly, they are all waiting for us downstairs.
Gopi went to the wardrobe to get Aham's clothes and he followed her.
Aham: Agar main tumse kuch mangu to tum dogi?
Gopi turned to face him and looked at him lovingly: app mang kar to dekhiye?
Aham held gopi's face and starred in her eyes.
Aham: I want to hear you say my name angel. Just once, please don't say no.
Gopi: Lekin main kaise?
Aham: Please princess sirf ek baar.
Gopi blushed and said softly : Aham..
Aham kissed gopi on her forehead and smiled: thank you sweetheart..
