i don't think saloni is this dark in real life. i think this make up and clothes are done to give her plain jane look. i am sure later they have some makeover in store for us just like jassi when her skin color will become lighter too.

Yup...that's true. I think she is dark but not as dark as they show her in the serial. I think they use some kind of dark foundation/powder to make it look darker. But yesterday, when they showed her feet, they were dark. And guys, who does feet make-up!!!! So, I really don't understand all this. "Indian Serials & Logic do not go together"...said by someone else.

she is really dark...i dunno if shes acted in any other serials but shes done an ad for Tanishq Jewellery also....

I was going to ask the same question. I think the show makes her darker than she really is. If you notice, when there is a close up, you can kindof see color variations. Or maybe I am just seeing things. :) I don't think anyone in this thread was dissing her color in real life. It was just a general question. And Yes, there are tons of dark people that are beautiful. :)

no she isnt.. she isn dark inr eal life.. i ahev seen a pics of her.. and havent u noticed.. when itsnight atin the serial.. they down shows her so much dark as at the day light.. i mean the dark make ups so dark .. try to notice

i don't think beauty lies in skin color and success has nothing to do with it either. i love kajol & rani mukherjee and they are the most sort after actors in bollywood too. most of our models are not light skinned either.

having said that i don't think saloni is pretty. not because of her skin color but her features and altogether she doesn't appeal to me at all.

but i think she is doing justice to the role so far and am sure she is in for a major makeover.

Saloni is to have a dark colour in the programme so thts y dey tuk Rajeshri (thts er name i fink) in da diwali show saloni lukd dark but i seen a pic of er a few dayz ago n she didn't luk as dark as she is made 2 luk in da drama.. i fink er colour isn't tht dark in real life, but is darker than other actresses.
