mistakes the are bohot jyaada the.lekin agar recording mein hoti to fantastic hoti( mistakes wud hv sounded fantastic??? or did he mean changes wud hv sounded better than the original)u deserve 10!! U were fantastic!( a performance full of mistakes can not be fantastic)...only HR can explain what did he mean.

Even a layman can c it was not full of mistakes!!!I had to hear it again n again to find mistakes ..there may b a mistake or two but no way it was full of mistakes..

he has made this song so beautiful that I don't think i'll hear the original track again. If Kailash Kher were to hear this ,he wud be proud of him.

Just in the begining in the line 'ba bal jaon apni pya koo' mein 'ko' itni khoobsorti se kaha ki kya kahoon 😛

The complete song appeared to be the coversation with Almighty though the original portrays a love story.
At times I felt original a bit monotonous. But...

Raja, throughout the song just put the appropriate emotions in every word and lines - God Bless.

The very first Aaalap gave us the indication of establishing a connection with Him, thanking Him for accepting the coversation.

Raja tried to convince "Him" that "He" is responsible for this urge for complete surrender and madness about searching and reaching The Almighty.

He used helplessness, Pleading, requesting, surrendering moods. He was also authoritative, argumentative, blaming Him at times. Well then gave a blend of caring, cajoling and fondling as well.

With the second aalap he also demonstrated indifference and coldness, annoyance and resentment for not agreeing to his pleading.

With the off beat set of rendition there was a feeling of getting in agreement with the Almighty. Both moving one step forward to compromis and then it was pure surrender... and acceptance by ALMIGHTY

I agree with lalbullet! I did not see mistakes, but numerous variations in the song.

but .. just remember the no of fans HR has.. most of these ppl are .. .. the common men..
also ive seen...how ppl are mad abt himesh..some even worship him .. .. and these guys .. just do wat he says... so uski baatein are influential .. .to a certain extent..

Agree completely about HR having a lot of influence on a large section of people so they listen to him implicitly and I feel the mentors are now playing a game so that Raja doesn't get all the votes so thus the negative comments. Sad!!!!!!!!!!

I feel there is sudden change in attitude of HR and ID towards Raja....costructive criticism is always good but ID almost sounded rude ..this cud be a fall out of Amanat being in bottom 3 last week(which was unfortunate)😕

Thanks for starting this thread and labullet and shehzaadi - loved your discussions.. 😊 After a long time, I have enjoyed some real discussion.. thank you guys.. 😊

And regarding the discussion, Yes - I agree with shehzaadi here.. As he lost the track, to get it corrected - he sang it fast to get back to the track.. But it becomes really unnoticeable because his voice really surpasses the track that you actually start concentrating on the voice and singing and forget that there is actually a track that is playing at the back.. That was not the only place where he lost the track, even in the beginning he lost it and around 1.58 when he sang Teri Deewani And when he struck the high notes, his voice was screeching and I really wish that he could end every line smoothly sometimes (note not all the times) he ends the line abruptly.. I dont know how many of you feel the same..

I don't think he lost the track in the beginin at all..Infact I felt the intro of the song was very very beautiful(which is not there in the original)....In my opinion he sounds best on high notes !😊..He has an awesome range.

I am not saying he does not sound best on high notes.. He is damn good and his scale is also very high and singing in high notes in this scale is very difficult..

But just these two places
Listen to him when he sings Teri Deeewani at 1.37 where he starts Teri Deewani before the track is played and at 1.55 to 1.57 where his voice was screeching..
