well shehzaadi ... i never questioned ur knowledge in music..
if u are a singer u would realize that ... even when singing on a track.. u DO HAVE THE LIBERTY to go off beat..
skipping a beat is a totally different thing.. then u tend to loose track ...
wat he did was in simple terms ... ADJUSTING THE TIME SPACING Of THE WORDS ..... within the same beat...
just listen to the song again .. that line ...in the end after the mukhda.... tune kya kar dala ... 'MARGAIMAINMITGAIMAIN' is where ppl are saying that he missed a beat.... but thats not a missed beat .. thats deliberate classy work.
just have another listen ... and post ur comments... ill wait for it
First of all, here's another Raja fan..hats off to his singing!!👏👏 Along with his strong command on sur and taal and a solid classical base, what I like about him is he sings with utmost sincerety and straight from his heart, and makes any song that he sings his own, makes some variations in every song, and it comes out so naturally that it feels like a Raja song..thats what makes him stand out from the rest of them, bcos he is different in a classy way! Also, I love all his song selections so far!
Great analysis of all of Raja's songs, lalbullet!👏 Thoroughly enjoyed reading it, and also ur discussion with shehzaadi..I heard his rendition of "Teri deewani" a number of times concentrating on the taal, and having a little background in music myself, I do have to say that I agree with lalbullet..in the end of the song with the "lutgayimaimitgayimai" he adjusted the words within the beats in a different way deliberately knowing well where he was gonna catch up with the beat..there's no question of it being a mistake..yes I do agree that he got the lyrics in the mukhda wrong, instead of mar gayi he said lut gayi..not a big deal..highly overshadowed by his excellent rendition of the song!
I don't know if he is going to be a winner in this "reality show contest", but I will be happy and content if he is!
