Y should , WE, the viewer try to sing it, we are not singers, we are not trained, but Mauli wants to be a singer, she wants to make it her profession, so she is the one who should be trying hard to sing properly. However, if you ask a good singer to sing maiyya maiyya , I know they will be able to sing it, and who knows maybe better.

ohh kay read alll the comments now first things frst all ppl whove been running aftr her cus she dint sang it very well guys albela sajan is not a solo song has been sung by three singers and three top notch classical singers in the industry.. i dint say she rocked the song cuz she dint but i said she proved her mettle cus thre hav been ppl all ovr if and in the show as well who hav been saying that she cant sing clasiical and soft romantic nos.. so she proved that she can actually sing them
secondly that song was recorded at a private studio so beats at the background cant match the music we hear at sa re ga ma pa cus thts not possible to create at a small studio so tht puts another cross on the list cus had thre been bettr background scrore it wuld hav definitely sounded better.
and lastly why is evryone so aftr the gurl she did a gud job at the rest of the songs mm not saying tht she sang albela sajan very well bt guys at no point i belive tht she murdered the song or raped it lke sumppl hav mentioned shes still learing she cant be kavita ji kavita ji has been learning muisc fr like 20 sumthng yrs shes atleast 39 ggiv mauli a brk shes 19 tried hard to sing and acc to me sang cool if not outstanding. we r going too much aftr the gurl lets giv her a big break . she is feeling the nerves too cus evryone is so much aftr her like she mentioned in yesterdays shw.. its making her feel pressurized to the extent whr its getting hard fr her to prfrm well so lets not get so much aftr her shes still a kid aftrall.

I sang it beutifully in my opinion.
