If any one (probably residing in India) knows who are the first set of winners of 3rd round?. I know Nihira and Vinit got the greencards on day 1, but donno which other two (Irfan, Vishwas, Keka and Ujjaini) got the green card.

I think Daler Mehndi got confused between Nihira and Twinkle. Not that one is cocky. I just hope Nihira does not take this criticism to heart and worry about it when she sings next time.

Dont talk about Daler I dont want to give him a bad word here..thats what he deserve.

I saw the first round today. Daler thinks a little too much of himself. His comment at Nihira was too rude. Whats wrong with Indians? Somehow self confidence is treated as the most negative trait in us. The next big negative trait is individuality. If we still talk like this in 21st century, what progress are we expecting to accomplish in this century? I thought Nihira sang perfectly and her confidence seemed positive, not arrogant. To listen to such a comment from an undeserving person is worse. I am a little shocked with the SaReGaMaPa organizers. How could they select Daler?? sucks..
About the mentors, I think Aadesh and Jatin/Lalit suck big time. Ismail is atleast honest. He may be a little blunt but his opinion is always consistent, not like these other guys. They keep changing their opinion based on whether their participants are singing or the opponents are singing. I hope the public doesn't land up disliking Ismail from the way Aadesh keeps projecting him.
I also agree that Rajeev and Vineet are over hyped. Neeladri always sang better than Rajeev and Sharib always sang better than Vineet. But Aadesh and Himesh over project their people. There are just a few types of songs that Rajeev can sing.
Btw are Viswas and Vineet really brothers? I thought they have different last names and come from different places. What did I miss?

I am betting on Hemachandra and Nihira. I am almost positive that they will be the winners unless they screw up big time. I like Sharib a lot. His voice is so unique and so deep. But he has a character voice and I am not expecting him to win the competition. Niladri probably has the best and most powerful voice, but he keeps screwing up and is not consistent. His Tere Liye from Veer Zaara was probably one of the best songs in the competition and of course Sharib's Laagi Tumse Man ki Lagan. I have all the programs recorded and I have heard the Laagi Tumse song atleast 50 times. Swananda and Twinkle are my other favorites. But Twinkle also has a distinct voice and may not win the competition. I am not sure how Himani and Raktima got this far. Well, we know.. As usual their mentor keeps over projecting them.

I have not been on the forum for some time but have been watching sa re ga ma pa diligently!Since we are getting close to the finals and since all of us have our personal favorite contestants,it would be fun to do an informal survey.Here is what I propose:
Let each of us put down the name of the couple we would like to win and the name of the couple we think would actually win.We can include the contestants who might come back through public voting.
Contestants I would love to see win : Swananda and Hemchandra.
Contestants who I think will win: Nihira and Abhijeet because of too much hype about them.

Thats a good idea. My personal choice is Hema and Nihira, like I mentioned before. Who may actually win?? Cannot tell..I am sure atleast one of them will definitely win. If Neeladri gets a little more disciplined and consistent, he definitely has a chance. And it could be a very close match between Swananda and Nihira. All others have character voice and I don't see them as winners of this show.
One thing I have observed is that all singers sing the high notes very well.. But low notes is only some people's cup of tea. Hema and Neeladri do the low notes very well.

Vineet and vishwas are not brothers....they are like brothers.

I want swananda/ujjaini to win and among boys- i don't have any favs.

Who will win- Nihira and Hemachandra

i think nihira & hemachandra will win.

among girls close fight will given by swananda, twinkle & himani

in boys it will be debu,niladari & also sharib giving the fight
