Maybe we can do a Echo Round 😳 That way Jaya's or the Coordinating Teams rules are also not touched (which says echo or sound enhancers not to be used in any round, but if the round is Echo round, then you have to use it.) and we can have the benefit of hearing some of our singers singing with good effect too.

In the same way, maybe later in the contest, we could do a karoke round, which may or may not be considered as a part of the contest, but for fun, a Karoke round will be good.

Lets leave "echo" out as that can keep the judgement as fair as possible. As Priya said, perhaps we can have a fun karaoke round later which is not marked.

The only regional lang I know is Gujarati, so I can help with that if needed. 😊

😃 Sounds good Tanaz.

I know Tamil, Malayalam and Marathi, so I can help with those.

Great idea Priya - a fun Karaoke round will be really interesting... Along with the contestants, we know for sure that all the mentors are great singers and would like to hear them as well on the Karaoke tracks 😛

So right now we have guides for quite a few regional languages...

Priya - Marathi, Tamil, Malayalam
Tanaz - Gujarati
Appa - Bengali, Tamil (?)
Sahana - Kannada (I guess 😳)

In case, someone wants to know what are the recognized languages of India, here is the list for them too 😛

Hello everyone

First of all congrats to all the participants who have been selected and second all the best to the participants and the mentors 👍🏼

i am sure we are going to have great fun here...

Was just going through this topic... I have one more suggession, Why not have a round where the participants sing along with the mentors of other gharana? Maybe somewhr at the later stages before the Grand Finale - this round can be kept just for fun and something like in C2005 whr the other mentors suggested songs for the participants.. Something like a challenge round...

What happens if contestants dont log onto IF or dont contact their mentor or do not post on the thread or do not pick up their pms or do not reply to PMs

😕

Since all the contestants had sent their songs to a common email ID for the audition round, we sure must have their personal email IDs. We could perhaps use that to contact them, and ask them to log on to IF and coordinate with their mentors.
