This is to inform all the Mentors that the last date is being extended to 22nd US timing.

Appa due to an emergency is unable to come here. I posted the message for his contestants on the thread. But there has been a communination gap and one has not yet contacted me. I am taking it that she has sent her song to Appa.

So giving her the benefit of doubt I am extending the last date by one day.

This is to inform yu all that due to vacations the judges are all bit busy. Thats the reason the results are getting late.

In view of the recent delays in both receiving Judges evaluations and the contestants not turning up or not submitting songs on time, we have decided on a new format for declaration of results and submission of songs, which will possibly help us continue the show on schedule without much delays.

Round 1 songs have been submitted and the results have been declared say today/later. Contestants will be given 7 days to submit their songs for Round 2. Once the contestants submit their songs, they could all start preparing for Round 3 and they are given 15 days (2 weeks) to submit their songs for the Round 3. On the date when all the contestants submit their song for Round 3, we will announce the two contestants who are knocked out in Round 2. We will then send the songs of the remaining contestants to the Judges for evaluation. All contestants can then begin preparing for Round 4. Following the same pattern, on the day when the contestants submit their songs for Round 4, Results of Round 3 will be declared.

This could save on the time given to the Judges for evaluating the songs, as sometimes 5 days is short time for all Judges to download all songs, evaluate them and then send the results. This gives them 2 weeks to declare results and this gives the contestants also the impetus to keep singing at their best during all rounds.

For next round i would ask all the four mentors to start preparing. Then we can have the last date maybe withing 7 days of declaring of the results which I hope to get maybe in 4-5 days time.

Hello all 😃... As we await the results for the first round, we will require additional rounds to reach the Grand Finale now as our contestants have now increased from 16 to 24 (6 in each gharana) 😊

Listed below are the modified rounds that we are proposing. Hope this is agreeable to all mentors and contestants. Please discuss within your gharanas and let us know. Again, we are letting you know the rounds much ahead so that you can work it out within your gharanas and start preparing right away, and hence stick to the timelines 😊

Please mentor and contestants some anouncements.

1. Appa has passed a message that he is still unable to come online just now. till he is back Sur_Sangam (Amit) will take care of his gharana. Amit pl contact the contestants of appa's gharana and start preparing for the next round.

2. The results are expected to be anounced anytime on Monday. possibly monday morning (IST)

3. The last date for the second round is being anounced now as then yu all can get more time to adjust. whenever the results is posted the last date for second round submission is 15th jan. Mentors pl get in touch with yur contestants and inform them too.

Seeing the large number of rounds, I get the feeling this contest will go on for one year! 😆 Hope all the songs will be sent before the deadlines!
