this was the first movie where heavy bass guitaring & electric guitar were used with amazing effect,Pancham also organised superior recording system for this. while young genre was very happy, it led to series of discussions those days, alleging Pancham to be using too much of western influence, but time proved how Pancham was far ahead of his contemporary. He never let Indian soul die in his songs, remember his songs of 1942 Love story..........that is more than 25 years after HRHK, still amazingly Indian-earthy songs.
Will you believe all the instruments used for 1942 Love strory's songs are of 1940s...I mean only those intruments which existed around 1940..
