You are right but off topic. I agree mussarat was untouchable in that genre but here the discussion is about

versatility

That is how it works with all the contestants in India. Amazingly it has been more than a year since Aneek became the champ but still certain people wont stop bad mouthing the poor guy. How do you know that it was only bengalis who voted for him and not others, do you have some kind of proof? Any way, he is the champ and that too a well deserving one, and nothing can change that.

I don't care about Aneek enough to bad mouth him. He can be champ or anything this will not make me think he is very good. Bengalis can enjoy him and love him to death. Even on this forum Bengalis are coming up with Bangla song Aneek has sung very well..most non bengalis don't care about Bengali songs.
I like Vaishali and Pratibha way better than last year's contestants.

No body is asking you to beleive aneek is good. What he is been already established.

But please do not bad mouth any regions. Oh we are all well aware of II2 when rajasthanis voted shamelessly for that crap singer. I think that guy was from the same place as Raja.
I think you are from a place where people have head in their toes.🤢

I don't understand how not caring for someone's singing can mean bad mouthing him or her. I think true music lovers can like different singers but still discuss it peacefully. No one is forcing anyone else to like a particular question. If i may, the one thing i want to ask people who viciously attack Aneek is this:
It's ok that you don't like his singing, but why do you feel the need to attack him?
There are singers i am not the biggest fan of but i don't insult them. So, we aren't asking why you don't like Aneek, we want to know why do you insult him?

About Aneek's age, while he was competing in c 07, he was 17 years old meaning he turned 18 this year. I know some of the info @ his bday isn't right, they have him as born in 1989 when he was actually born in 1990. Take care.😃

There we have something in common. 😃 That's the beauty of this forum, no matter how much we disagree with each other, there will be always something for us to agree on too. 😉 ⭐️
Well, I was upset when Poonam was eliminated, and then Aneek won and not Raja or Amanat. I dont hate Aneek though, and he is a kid who has done well, but - you know there is always this 'but' you cant fill in the blanks with... 😊 I watched him on ESBE and I really wanted him (and Sayantini) to win that one though, and not Raja-Jas jodi (I cant stand Jaswir, sorry Raja), and then he was eliminated. It's always based on the norm of the show and the performance they deliver in the show. So maybe some time in the future, we might all start to like Asma's singing too!! 😲
I thought he is 20 now, as I think they said he is 19 last year on the show, by HR or someone... Anyway, it doesnt matter and would not make any difference. 😊

Really. What you have said is pretty sick..
You are the one full of hate and bi-particianship..

According to your logic, I think you are from a place where people are sick and abusive..

Everyone has their own favourite and it is good and healthy.
Most of us love each of the singers for certain of their performances, but once we like a person then we generally love most or all of their performances.
I remember in 2007 when the show first started the Mentors did not seem happy with most of the performances by the contestants and after several rounds they improved a lot. Mentors also seemed more critical.
This year the Mentors give "History" like issuing parking tickets.

Wow, thanks for saying that summerji! I've noticed how the mentors give "history!!!" so often. Then, what significance does a truly historic performance have if everyone is told they are doing a stellar job? I wish they would just stick to giving points out of ten. They can give tens out often, that won't stop the problem we are discussing but the word history won't be abused LOL!

Well they give History to each other, so that there will be less fights among the Mentors.😆

I was not a Aneek fan. Loved raja and Amanat. I honestly believed one of them would win. I was rooting for Amanat but thought Raja will take the crown. I was shocked to see Aneek win.
