Himesh Reshammiya, lyricist Sameer and T Series are in trouble. Punjabi folk singer Kulwinder Kally has filed a legal notice against them, alleging that they stole his song ?Soniye Je Tere Naal? in Karzzzz and haven?t even given him any credit for it.

Kulwinder has filed the case with the Punjab and Haryana high court and demanded Rs 5 crore as compensation for using his song in Reshammiya?s upcoming film, Karzzzz.

Kulwinder said, ?I had sung this track almost four years ago for my album Shaam Wali Gaddi. But, I had never given album?s producers T Series the right to use the song as and when they wanted to. This is unfair. I have sent a legal notice to them and will be suing them for Rs 5 crore.?

However, Bhushan Kumar of T Series has a different story to tell. He said, ?When we buy the rights of an album, we buy it an all forms. I am the copyright owner of the song and have used it in Karzzzz, which is also produced by T Series.

Himesh said, ?Sameerji and I have recreated the song ?Soniye Je Tere Naal?. The rights of the song are with T Series. Any other questions can only be answered by Bhushan Kumar, who owns the rights of the original song.?

There are lot of satya ke pujari in saregamapa. One is our Copying machine Preetam. Singers and mentors were made to swear on Preetam Puran😆. The half article posted here already gave lot of publicity to every body including, Kelly, himesh, and karzzz music. Than they release information in bits and pieces. A common way to create interest and keep the thing in lime light. Lets see if this case see the light of the day in the court. If both sides are serious and convinced than it will be fought in the court. I generally take these half articles with a grain of salt.

Seems like T Series did their homework before allowing the song to be sung.

So HImeshji is innocent.

Hope they pay Kulwinder Singh some money out of goodwill and good relationship.

T Series can easily afford it.

Summer I have said this from day one that himesh is innocent.

If Himesh has to lift a song then God has given him atleast this much brain that he would have lifted tune and not the wording of the song. He would have lifted songs of froeign countries and not of India that also a song which was realised 4 years ago.

Yes Himesh is indeed innocent and this is all about Bhushan Kumar and Kally. But some people have such a bias against Himesh that they will call him names and question his musical ability and what not because of this without knowing the full story. If people lifted tunes illegally in the "golden era" and were not caught back then they are still worshipped. But if someone does it legally in this age and that too after a record of having 30 superhit original songs in one year, they are acused of plagarism. So now that we know that Himesh will not face any legal problems for this song will people cease to point fingers at him? I doubt it.

It is nice that people are questioning Himesh ablity. This will always help him to work harder. Earlier i also use to think that why people are quetioning himesh ablity the same man who gave so many musical hits and composed more than 300 songs. Whose album are always average or Hit or super hit and every album has atleast two or three chartbuster but now I have realised that all such crticism has helped himesh to do much better in future. So dont worry people one day will realise that after so many critisim still this man has achived so much his life and they will start respecting his hard work . Inspite of so many people of Crab Menatality and lot of media interference if still a person reach at the top than he deserves respect. Himesh have reached today at the top is not beacuse he belongs to big family, infact his father was just a small musician in LP and never got a chance to compose any song. Himesh started as producer and have superhit serials like Amar Prem , Andaaz, Chamatkar(of Farooq sheik, in Sony TV)an then became superhit music director singer and now actor. So there is no doubt people will one day give him respect. Only the thing they has to realise is that there many be 1000 people who can crack many jokes on himesh but among those thousand people not a single person can achive what himesh achived. The day they realise this they will respect himesh.

for few reasons : many of the musicians of golden era you are talking about have died, most of them have earned respect over period of time like Shankar jaikishan whose created taan in upper register for Lata are still evaluated and often debated, same for madan mohan (about whom Lata ji says if some one wants to learn ghazal singing he should listen to him, same for most of them, They were far more talented than most of then present lot, so in the music industry itself you find their support by legends and stalwarts.

Yes ARR has lifted a tune here or there but he is the only musician from current era for whom Lata ji says ye ladka acha kaam kar raha hai, so obviously they have plenty of support despite having lifted a few tunes, this is not the case with HR and he still has to earn respect from legends and stalwarts like Lataji, Javed Akhtar and others.

Most important is that there are people who loves him. He has his own fan's who are loyal to him and always there with him inspite of so much of conterversy . I know some of my friend who also pray for his sucess which is the biggest achivement.

yes I never denied that , but 30 hits in a year are forgotten equally fast unless they are competing for the category of Roza, Dil se, Tare Zameen Par, Kal ho na ho etc or are trend setting like aap jaise koi.

Himesh has a relatively short history but he has achieved much. He may have a bit more to go before achieving immortality. The stage is crowded with many talents; way I see the more the merrier.

Guess different people have different musical tastes.

Funny thing is I listen to his songs frequently and find Karzzzz a great collection in a single cd.

Yes,HR is a personality who can not be ignored.Love him or hate him,but he is in the limelight. As for lifting many of them are guilty.A few are cuaght,stll fewer are sued,but most escape unscathed. Liking or disliking trendy songs of today is a matter of personal choice.
