Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira distances herself from Armaan, chooses to break all ties

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Armaan teams up with the police to track down the truck carrying the kidnapped girls. Among the gang members, one nervously admits that they are committing sins under the guise of Ganpati Visarjan.

Soon, Armaan spots the truck and calls out to Maira. She responds to him but is immediately attacked by the goons. Encouraged by Armaan, who urges her to keep faith in Lord Ganesha, Maira gathers courage, fights back against the miscreants, and finally reunites with him.

Armaan Exposes the Traffickers

Furious at the traffickers, Armaan blasts them for exploiting God's name while committing such heinous acts. He firmly asks the inspector to ensure they face strict punishment. Afterwards, he turns to Maira, questioning why she fled from home.

He reminds her that if she didn't want to pursue dance, she could have simply told him. However, Maira accuses him of deceiving her by saying that Abhira had sent the dance teacher, which was untrue. She also points out that he lied about being with Abhira when, in reality, he was performing puja with Geetanjali.

Despite Armaan's efforts to explain, Maira refuses to listen. Manoj intervenes, suggesting that Armaan should wait for the right time to clarify things. Shifting his focus, Armaan then speaks to the parents of the rescued girls, while the inspector appreciates his role in uncovering the trafficking racket.

Maira Returns

Meanwhile, at the Poddar house, Kaveri, Vidya, and Manisha anxiously wait for Maira's return. Kaveri admits that she was terrified when Maira went missing and warns that until Abhira is back home, such troubles will keep arising.

Once reunited with the family, Maira asks Armaan to bring Abhira back to the house. Manoj advises Armaan to rest, but instead, he reveals to Maira that it was Abhira who played a key role in saving her. Determined to spread awareness, he decides to deliver a message publicly.

Armaan’s Message to Society

Armaan then steps forward to speak to the media, emphasising that the exposure of the child trafficking gang is not just a personal achievement but a collective victory for parents and society. He highlights the disturbing reality that women and children often become victims of such crimes, usually at the hands of people already known to them.

Stressing the importance of vigilance, Armaan points out that whenever a child expresses discomfort around a relative or acquaintance, it is the duty of parents to take those concerns seriously and act promptly to safeguard them.

Abhira blames herself for everything

Later, Armaan goes to meet Abhira and tells her that Maira has been found safely. He explains that Abhira’s efforts did not go in vain and that even while being in jail, she played a crucial role in helping track down Maira. He shares that the police discovered a child trafficking racket being run by Jalebi Bai from inside the jail.

The entire gang has been arrested, Jalebi’s punishment has been increased, and many children’s lives have been saved. Maira has also returned home, and it all became possible because of Abhira. Hearing this, Abhira feels grateful and silently thanks everyone, God, the universe, her mother, the police, and even Armaan. Overwhelmed, she breaks down in tears, and Armaan consoles her, assuring her that her presence means everything to him.

In the midst of this emotional moment, Abhira asks him how Maira was kidnapped.Armaan informs her that Maira was kidnapped only because she tried to meet her. Abhira blames herself for the situation and suggests that Maira should be taken away to another city for her safety.

Armaan reassures her, promising to fight by her side. While Abhira insists that no one can free her from jail, Armaan encourages her not to lose hope and to keep fighting. But Abhira, overwhelmed, distances herself further, refusing to meet him again and deciding to cut ties with everyone.
