Kally has sung this song in the album which belongs to T series. Hence Tseries has also rights to use this song.

I hope you can see a label of T series on the album. The problem is the pakistani singers rights belong to Kally so kally is claiming this song but according to T series the ablum belongs to them so they have rights to use this song anywhere they like.Himesh has not been registered as a music director for this songs instead he has registered himself as a Music Recreator. Even Bhushan Kumar of T series have decided to issue legal notice to kally and from some of my friends I even came to know that they have already sent legal notice to kally.

.😆

Hats off to Himesh for creating this new word for lifting tunes. 😆 So now no problem. Anyone can lift them note by note and put down this word. 😆😆😆 This is the perfect example of "Choori aur Seena Jori".

Actually Himesh has not credited himself of composing this song or obviously Ek Haseeni Thi. Both songs belong to T-Series.
That's how the songs in Don by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and Nimbuda by Ismail Darbar got recreated. There are many folk songs and songs by Nusrat Fatheh Ali Khan which have all been recreated by composers.
Like Bombay Rockers , Ari Ari. This is a punjaabi folk song. I guess nobody has a problem with that.

It is likely that they will settle the issue for one crore, to save time and expenses for both sides.
A nuisance value settlement.

A lift is a lift. Simple. Yes none can beat Pritam when it comes to lifting, he has broken all records but as far as this song goes its the same too. Using the word Recreated will not help the original composer. If he really felt so much he should have given the due credit too. Its just that now a new term will get coined in the subject of plagiarism.

I agree with Summer. They will do nothing. The amount would be cut down and some deal stuck. Reason why plagiarism is not stopping. Someone need to really take a strong step to show the path to others so that others can follow the same.

I don't know what is the need to plagiarize, why ARR and SEL dont need to lift and others need to? The answer lies in training, I am sure Pritam also is talented but he doesnt have enough training on board, like ARR has classical training and even if he keeps using only 50 raags and their mishra version in diff permutaion and combination he will have no problem, I think in film waqt 4 songs were on one raag, Pahadi did we feel this:? Or more than 2 songs in Satyam Shivan Sundaram is on Bhairavi or many songs of ARR are variation of Bhairavi. So get trained before you want to compose.

Not just training ID. It is also related to timing and easy work. People like Pritam have taken up so many projects how can you expect them to actually create. That will need free time to think. Do they have it??? Instead they have found the easy path. Lift it from some catchy number.

ARR and SEL believe more in quality work than quantity thats what I feel.

If that's the case then how do you explain lifts by RD Burman, LP, Shankar Jaikishan etc. were they not trained?

About ARR he has also lifted before. Oh humdum suniyo re is lifted. And SEL recently did a song called "move your body". In that song there was a line "doob ja mere pyaar mein" and the tune of that line was lifted.
