When Ram Sampat Criticized Niladri, all hell broke loose on him.

He was accused of being unfair, harsh, "a friend" of kailash kher, etc etc

while Pyarelaal ridiculed Salman, by asking him to sing in a different scale and then cutting him off a few times and interjecting his song, we did not mind at all. In fact we are all praises him.

Just because Kailash has had a bad attitude on the sets from day one, we are overlooking some good things he said during the last episode!

Do we always judge actions based on who is doing it, rather than judging people by what action they do?

Is that fair?

Salman should not have been treated in that way - he is just a kid - not some grown up fully trained singer. Alka should of explained that to the judges then Kailash would not have had to do what he did. Mithun handles his show better.

Don't you think the guests were aware? they certainly were. Music directors are used to bullying singers and especially new ones. I think Pyarelal and Ram were still in their studios in their minds.

I guess the guest judges on the show forget that these are small children. They explain and talk to them like they are talking to adults. Which is wierd. I am sure that every child out there just wants to finish their performance, hear good things about their performance. Most children are sensitive. Slightest criticism upsets them to no end. Guest judges must def think before saying harsh words to kids. infact they should boost their confidence with kind words.

This is not an excuse that they are children. If they are not told about there faults now thet will never learn. If they are not singing well they must be told so. By unnecessary praise they will spoil their career. Both Ram & Pyarelalji were correct in telling where they went wrong. By not telling what they are you are being hypocrite.

Salman was not wrong he sang in the TEMPO in the way he was taught by his guru. He did not make a mistake.😊

While I agree with the concept of correcting mistakes, it is very important that the critique needs to be effective. What you say should be constructive. The way Pyarelal and Ram spoke to the boys, it was destroying their confidence. I think they were either being arrogant or acting on behalf of the channel to add to the drama. At the least I would expect a 71 year old to understand this better than anyone, unless of course, age is catching up with his sense and sensibility.

Here are my thoughts on that...

Being a huge fan of Salman Ali - I felt that the guidance given to him by Pyaarelal ji was not done in a rude manner - I honestly felt that his feedback was to guide Salman and infact these kids are lucky to get guidance from such legends.

Now coming to Niladri...I had misssed the entire part of Ram's interaction with Niladri, finally saw it on you tube - This is my first post in regards to Ram and Niladri...I felt that the message by Ram was not harsh, but the delivery was harsh and by that I mean is his tone.

The same message had Adnan or Javed had delivered to Niladri or any child, they would have done it in a calm and soft manner.

The way Javed explained Salman about being Flat in some areas was done in a calm tone - but had Javed used the same tone as Ram, the message would have come across harsh.

Anyway - these are just my thoughts. I have seen Abhijeet yelling at children in last year's lil champ - the children got used that kinda feedback and probably got used being dealt with like that - this season, children are handled delicately - Ram could have used softer tone...!
