I guess the guest judges on the show forget that these are small children. They explain and talk to them like they are talking to adults. Which is wierd. I am sure that every child out there just wants to finish their performance, hear good things about their performance. Most children are sensitive. Slightest criticism upsets them to no end. Guest judges must def think before saying harsh words to kids. infact they should boost their confidence with kind words.
I could not have agreed more!! You are absolutely bang on...I dont think, Niladri has a say in choosing the song, it must be the channel and the guru. He is a kid and just got carried away by the performance. Ram was true in what he said, but his tone could have been different, the receiver was a 11 yr old boy!! He does share the same guru as Aneek and Anwesha but they came on stage when Aneek was 17 and Answesha 13 and here he is only 11. I am sure he has time to improve and my heart goes out that he travels from far suburbs of Ashoknagar (almost near (Bongaon) to Kolkata many times a week to get trained.I finally found it on youtube as my DVR cut it off.
Let me start by saying Ram was harsh but was truthful about Niladri's unintelligible lyrics. The kid who sang that amazing bandish and Puchho Na Kaise could have done better and in any case chosen a better song.We are hypocrites because Azmat is held to a completely different standard. When he was Jiya Dhadak, he could not even pronounce it correctly. Same with Madhuban Me Radhika. Every song he sings is ruined for me because either his speech impediment or frankly because sometimes he goes off tune. Yes whether it is Sniti or Azmat, as Ram said pronunciation matters.Azmat's strengths are his natural murikyas and his concentration in trying. I think he is also 11 and because he is smaller he gets away with more. Maybe his sad story of no education or malnutrition or whatever it is makes people more forgiving. I mean Niladri is fat and privileged so he probably should be held to a higher standard. Niladri's teacher is the teacher of Aneek and Anwesha so I guess in that comparison he fell short. I don't want to pick a fight nor hurt anyone's feelings but Azmat IMO does not deserve to be in the final 3 and I will be heartbroken if either Nitin or Salman don't win.
