THANK YOU, for making this one here. I can't add anything more to it, you said it all ! Its EXACTLY what I made out of her behaviour towards Kabir now. No, the woman is NOT conditionally in love with Kabir, she loves him with all her heart and mind.
Kabir's love for her is unconditional, all encompassing, fulfilling, to the extent of madness even, but Ananya's love for him is no less. But this is also her father's murder case, RG killed her father, whom she considered to be her ideal, she is her 'papa ki beti'. This is all so much for her to take in, and then accepting Kabir's love.
His love for her is never secondary to her, but what we need to see from Ananya's side is that like you mentioned, there is the sense of a survivor's guilt for her, for Ronnie's death, and of course, the fact that RG is roaming free right in front of her, making threats, bad mouthing her father like that in front of everyone is something no daughter can take in.
And in the midst of all the emotional upheaval, you cannot seriosuly expect her to think on the relationship front atm. And yes, its not like she is not thinking about it per se. She is, that scene where she imagines Ronnie telling her about Kabir, it was just her own heart, that tells her that. She doesn't need anybody's approval to accept Kabir's love. Its just that Ronnie has always been her voice of reason. So, when he is not there physically for her, its her own conscience, in his form talks to her and tells her what she already knows deep in her heart.
And the rest, I agree to everything you said, really! Kabir ain't tolerating her nonsense, he loves the woman with all his heart, he understands her, he knows how she functions.
That cabin scene right after she pointed the gun at RG, that was so beautiful! <3 Such impact too! That was her vulnerable self bared out in front of Kabir. So, if her love would have been conditional, she wouldn't have laid everything out from her side to him.
I respect everyone' ideas and POVs but then, I don't believe its Ananya's 'nonsensical problem' that she isn't accepting Kabir's love. If anything, she has never been un-accepting of his love, even when they had the misunderstanding between them. And honestly, I wish people would try and see things from Ananya's side too, just like we do for Kabir. She is my favourite girl for sure. I can't vouch for everyone per se, but for me Ms.Kashyap is very relatable. 😳 The insecurities in love, the guilt, the indecisiveness at times, its all part of one's personality and growing up. We all keep learning throughout our lives. Its not like life stops teaching us things at a certain age.
Thank you again Moner_Radio, for this. <33 Such wonderfully worded post!
Btw, fellow Bong here.. *waves hello* 😛
