What Shreya doesn't understand..

Today's episode marked the birth of a completely negative Shreya. Before today, we had seen her as manipulative, obsessive and egoistical, but never totally negative. I never believed she married Kabir for the bet, and I did have some sort of sympathy for her, it is unbearable for any woman to digest husband's infidelity. And that's exactly why I could never understand why Shreya wants Kabir back.

Shreya has 'zidd' for kabeer and nuthing more...the day she gets kabeer she ll loose interest in him...(which ll never happen)

Oh, she feels she can take over an adhesive manufacturing company and join Kabir's "tutey dil ke tukre" and make him hers ! Thats what she said yesterday ! People have rightly said, Ego makes even the most intelligent turn blind and dumb !

I think when she came to kkn she had thought that she would again be able to play games with kabir like the last time.praise him..make him fall in love Such audacious thinking in the first place but little she knew about the depth of kaya relatin but knowing now she just wants him at any way..I doubt if kabir isunaware regarding her affairs and all..she just didn't mean to him anymore way backFor Shreya kabir is a trophy..now even more with his status..she is alone ad she wants him.but this is not the way relations are made..I think she will break him professionally because personally Anu can never hurt Kabir and for Kabir other than Anu no one matters

Geetha quite an interesting post. Though I never doubted what Kabir said about the bet...you see the hero can never be wrong specially if he says something about the vamp. That's the thumb rule 😆 I was pretty sure about the bet specially how Shreya herself said on day one how no emotion matters for her when it comes to her ambitions. Also somewhere I even thought if Shreya too ever broke the sanctity of marriage and Kabir doesnt know it but for me that doesnt matter coz it in no way can serve to be a white-washing mechanism for Kabirs mistake for me atleast. Knowing his circumstances, I have accepted him with his mistake like Ananya, 😳

I made a post on Shreya's personality flaw while you were away and since this topic is dedicated to Shreya I think I should start with talking about her main flaw first. She is an adaptive narcissist'. She belonged to a very affluent family and rich are apparently more self-absorbed. They don't see selfishness and narcissism as negative traits. Rather they make no secret of the fact that they want to make themselves happy before considering anyone else. So, in whole it is her upbringing that misguided her self-esteem and thinking about self thus turning her into what she is today (which is now so crystallized into her personality that it is nearly irreplaceable). Yes, Shreya married him for a bet because she had to prove that she can get whatever she wants (I again blame her upbringing her) and in no means she could have afforded to be proved wrong. Thus, she began her act of making Kabir believe that she loved him and finally married him to prove her point but once the reality struck her she felt it was too low of her to be with that man who was nowhere near her and the life-style that she was used to. She was used to life with all perks and she gave up on those perks for a man she did not even love (he was a bet to her after all) and thus as Kabir said she changed completely (and her so called love vanished). Now those things which used to appreciate about him in order to impress him were the things she hated the most about him. She constantly kept nagging him and calling him a failure because that marriage was suffocating her and no one else other than her could be blamed for that but she did not want to accept the fact that she ruined her life on her own.

Now Kabir said that she was waiting for him to commit a mistake so that she could use it as an excuse to end the marriage but now I feel that the frustration level would have almost reached a saturation level when he saw that Kabir was getting back to his normal self in Tarini's company and how could she let him be happy when she was feeling so suffocated. And hence she concocted the entire Kabir-Tarini issue. There's definitely more to Shreya-Tarini that we know and Tarini also seems to be guilt"ridden and this explains she always so badly wants Kabir to be happy and KaYa to be together (plus why she hold no grudges against Shreya because she was responsible for her actions irrespective of Shreya's involvement or not).

So that is Shreya in the past and these 8 years must have brought some changes in her too. So, what is Shreya presently? IMO Shreya is an empty void now but she is masking that from everyone by creating a persona of confidence, charm and empowerment. She might have had numerous flings after separation but nothing worked out for her and when she got to know that Kabir Sharma is a catch now she did not even waste a second to re-enter his life to fulfill her own needs (umm...as in validation that she is someone highly valued??). At the moment she terribly needs to feel that she is emotionally existent and it was going all smooth for her when Kabir was affected in her presence or until she felt that there are chances that he has not got over her yet. Even hate is a strong emotion and thus Kabir's hatred towards her was also satiating her in some way. But now she can clearly see that Kabir is being liberated from the shackles of their past and has become completely indifferent to her (as she said Kabir has gained a new rhythm with Ananya thus indicating that he is no longer stuck on to his past). The woman cannot accept this at all and the 'engagement' just triggered into Shreya's ego being rendered insignificant and meaningless. I probably feel the emotions that she is currently experiencing are 'abandoned' and 'worthless'. Thus, she talks about forcing Ananya to give pain to Kabir and then helping him come out of this because it is like a medium of feeding her false self in order to protect herself from collapsing on an inner-level. She did not ever love him or can love him...everything is just about her 'emotional survival' and satiating her fragile ego'.

I hope I made sense (though I doubt 😛)

Did you hear her saying , Main jodoongi, piece by piece. Yucks, kaisi aurat hain. She can easily shame the other vamps.
