I know its too hard to digest the bet thing being the reason behind her eagerness to marry him. I have had this thoughts too and I still do. Yes, its indeed possible that she made herself to think that it was 'love' and that he is a good catch (after all he was the journalist of the year then). Whatever it was from her side was way too superficial. Woman does not understand the importance of the 'core connection' in any relationship. Relationships based on functionality (liking something or someone till it serves its purpose) never lasts because sooner or later there is nothing to hold on to when the odds strike - there is just disappointments and more disappointments!
Kabir was enmeshed in the past with Shreya but he is in love with Ananya. Yes, Ananya holds the key to his heart but she will be his strength too in weak moments that is going to hit him soon (and vice-versa too)!
