This was a wonderfully original concept! I loved how you put the two relationships and the two versions of Rudra at a contrast. It was very interesting to see how past Rudra changed so much in comparison to present Rudra. One can definitely see the effects of love on him 😳

I also liked how you contrasted the two women, yet somehow they were similar. Laila and Paro both care for Rudra but it is Rudra who has decided who to care for himself. It is Paro's anger that affects him - like Paro's very being affects him too - and so Rudra turns into a cajoling husband, which is always lovely to see. With Laila he is Rudra in the purest sense; he is only destruction.

Finally, my favourite bit was the ending, when you described Rudra's emotion s whilst watching Paro sleep. It was interesting to note that he himself noted the changes within him, and how he enjoyed actually feeling things. That, for me, was a very strong scene.

Well done dear, and don't be ridiculous, this was not at all weak. Your job was to focus on the theme of RAUDRA and that is exactly what you achieved by spinning your own creative twist on it. It was fantastic 👏

I absolutely loved it Anky, it's very different what you did with the emotion.
The comparison of Rudra's anger to Paro's and the contrast of Laila and Paro and their behaviour and the effect each has on Rudra.
If you call this shoddy, I dunno what you'd classify as amazing

An amazing addition to the series

The parallelism between the two women Rudra had and has in his life is so well-portrayed!!!!!
The emotion which defines the man could not have been put into better description... When with Laila, all he feels is like adding fuel to the fire, whereas being with paro he wants to pour water of this raging volcano inside...
Laila wants the wild, angry beast fully unleashed while Paro wants to tame and thaw the long frozen feelings...
Amazing Anky!!!!!! This couldn't have been any better; except having another part added for a "happily ever after"!!!! Haha...

Read both the stories. Each so different and each equally beautiful.

The first one made me uncomfortable in the way that seeing something raw yet beautiful does. And the second one was more comforting. The latter a little surprising when you consider it is based on "anger". But the parallels between what Rudra feels for the two women was wonderfully brought out. An angry Rudra versus a petulant Paro made for a beautiful contrast 😆

Zara: Can I just kill you ? I hate tragic stories but you were brilliant. I loved your take. It was poignant and just the course left for Rudra. It was not suicide was it, just the path to take to go to the other side of the veil. Where his Paro is waiting for him!!!
Brilliant writing, thank you for posting and restarting the Navarasa series.

@Zen: What a contrast to Zara's story and a contrast in anger between Rudra and Paro.

Paro's anger stems from concern and love whereas Rudra's from pain and poison.
Beautifully captured, I loved reading it. Patience is something Paro has gifted Rudra. he has taken it gracefully and utilizing it to the fullest 😆
Laila, I felt sorry for her!! Her pain was subtle, but there. A pain and anger which he was blind to, but Paro's pain and anger he is unable to close his eyes to!! Wow, woman. Please continue such sub-standard writing 😛

P.S: I read the nandini wala OS on my phone. was not satisfied. Going to reread it again and post my comments 😳

You inspire me to try harder at writing fan fictions. One of the commentators above stated how you give us better parud romance than onscreen.. And I agree, whole heartedly.
I love the way this is about his anger yet still doesn't mean that he is angry with paro. That's what I loved the most. It's romantic and light hearted.. which contradicts the theme yet it almost doesn't. Okay.. I'm sure I'm not making any sense but.. I LOVED THIS NONETHELESS!! Please accept my buddy request because I'd love to receive updates of your work

I loved every one of the piece and I am in awe of the understanding and depth to which u guys have understood the characters... Better than the makers of the show too I guess...
