Rudra has spent every night for 8 years with laila.. Then he needed her.. But now all of a sudden he's rude to her... now that he's got Paro, the love of his life, he's all of a sudden mad at Laila... I dunno why😲... I hope Rudra has a valid reason for hatred towards laila... atleast he should give proper reasons to laia
I'm still confused n wondering why the hell is Rudra angry n rude to Laila 😆 whatever PaRud are getting close to eachother... Credits to Laila ;) 😉

Wouldn't this eat any women (wife) alive?

A man keeps telling his wife his ex is bad, but that same man felt comfort in going to that women, surely the women wasn't that bad, she did give him the comfort and support.

Edit: I repeat I do understand rudra has a traumatic past, and it's understandable, I do sympathise with him, but he needs to understand, how something like this is not easy for a wife to grasp.

what I am going to say would gain bricks and bats.. but lets say anyway.. probably when he was going there she did not have so much poison in her? probably thats why he let it continue for 8 years? Now that he does not want any more of it without any explanation and regard for that 8 years of her life, has created that poison in her?... would you fault Laila for it? I cannot... its really a rotten deal for her.

On a serious note though I guess this is what ST meant when he said that each character apart from Paro is grey. We don't know what Laila's backstory is and what made her accept Rudra's conditions - because those are pretty hefty conditions for a village girl. As she grew older did she realize the other parts of life that she lost out on because of her love for Rudra - he was never going to marry her and giver her 2.4 children, did that realization make her bitter.
The true test of character though is how a person deals with adversity and this is where Laila has failed and perhaps Rudra came across this trait in her before too and that's what makes him wary of her.
I'm guessing he stayed with her for that long because it was easy. It can't be easy to find a woman who's open to this type of non relationship for so long and as long as she went along with what Rudra wanted then it was an easy relationship.

May be in real life it is impossible to not develop a soft corner for someone if you have been with that person for as long as 8 years but I can see why someone like Rudra did not have major feelings for Laila.

He did say it during the haldi confrontation to Laila that he considered her to be a friend. So he did have some feelings for her, even if it wasn't romantic.

But the issue is that he didn't explain that bit too Paro. Paro insisted that Laila should stay in their house and his family agreed, but it wasn't wise on his part to give in. It was obvious that he didn't trust her around Paro, he knew she was dangerous...and yet he left Paro unprotected.

Maybe he was unable to say it before his confession about the fling to Paro...but he should have said it afterwards. Explain why he thinks Laila is bad. What her true intentions are.

We can assume that it's the haldi incident that made him realize Laila's true colors. But it's not explained by the cvs. Therefore, we are left to wonder and make our own assumptions.

Because her presence in his life was never threatened by another woman. She was not so vicious now that he is starting to have feeling towards the heroine, and perhaps in his mind compare them she came up short. And according to what he said, he didn't ask her to follow him to his new post, but he is a man, and when he is given free sex and food what more can he ask for.😉

Agree...

But, Laila is not Rudra's Ex here. At least he doesn't consider. According to him, he was like a janwar without any emotions and Laila knowingly was with him.

He didn't know many things. He didn't know that she Laila was in love with him (till she told him during Haldi rasm). He thought just like how it is a passing relation for him, it is the same for her too. She came following him from Jaipur. If she hadn't come, then he would have gone for some one else. And I don't think he would have felt jealous if Laila was with any other man.

At the same time, he didn't think that Laila can be really dangerous. May be he hasn't seen that side of her. And he never bothered so much about her.

Not trying to justify Rudra. He was wrong because he didn't understand a woman. He thought from a man's perspective. In Paro's case, Paro is making him understand emotions.
