mindblowing! too good eveline, totally agree with u!
Realistic or whatever, for me the balance always tilts a bit to Rudra's side, when all is said and done!

Liked your post and how you explained it.

Rudra is a good guy.
Hard on the outside, but soft inside.

I love the way Rudra's character is being portrayed.
Find nothing wrong.
This is a TV show, so just enjoying it... immensely.

- Secondly, when handling Paro, Rudra was not out to make friends. He was dealing with a suspect, in a case of arms smuggling across border, which hopefully we all know is a huge crime. A suspect who was also a prime witness, with whose help he was trying to break a ring of mass murderers dealing in lethal weapons for the past 18 years. Just want to point out, that such criminals, suspected of such crimes, are meted out various harsh and inhuman treatments in real life. Torture, rape, molestation, sodomy...just being a few unpalatable examples. The armed forces, any wing, any nation, have their own way to dealing with such human scum. Yes, human right activists have been struggling with issues for years, but if we want a realist show, we have to digest reality, however bitter it may taste. And Rudra's treatment of Paro was nothing, nothing at all, compared to real life.

Okay. This. I'm honestly confused about this. Why in the world was Paro even a suspect? Rudra knew that girls were taken every year to the other side of the border and then they disappeared. He said so himself to the people of Paro's village. The way he said it, it made it seem like he was aware that these girls were tricked into marriage and then were killed or sold. So what in the world made him think Paro was any different? And ok, let's say that girls who were married off every year knew about the smuggling but not about their fake marriages (I don't know how that's possible...Thakursa mentioned to Paro that her husband was in CHARGE of the smuggling...so how can girls know about the entire smuggling operation but not realize that the marriages could not be real because of who the marriages were to). But let's just say that Paro knew about the smuggling but not about her fake marriage. When Rudra tried to tell her the truth, and she refused to believe it, how could he think she was just protecting Thakursa? I mean, if I found out that the people I did smuggling with were planning to actually kill or sell me afterwards, I would become enraged or upset and would expose my "people". But Paro didn't do that...so clearly she knew NOTHING and didn't believe whatever Rudra was telling her about her people. So why in the world was she a suspect? On what basis was she a suspect?

Hope my little rant makes sense, and I hope you can clear my confusion.

I personally hold both Paro and Rudra responsible for what happened to Rudra today. Their souls and lives are intertwined and I believe that Rudra's downfall is not solely Rudra's fault but it is not solely Paro's fault either. They both messed up in various ways.

Liked your post.
But I have missed the posts targeting Rudra as unstable or vile man.. or in totally negative light!

Agree with you. Rudra never created this marriage mess, he just tried to take advantage of it to get his job done. Both Paro and Rudra knew what was happening since she returned to the haveli. So there is no question of force. And after the mission ended, he was ready to hand her security over to the BSD, she chose to stay with him. So in the end, they both made a lot of bad decisions and are now forced to accept the consequences.
The BSD is however not bothered about the truth, they didn't look into his past records, his sincerity and dedication due to which he was awarded medals in the first place. For me, it looked very cruel when he was suspended so easily, just because of an article.

good post. u just reflected my thoughts.
1)he did not promise paro anything...before the tejawat's truth came out, paro was hell bent of not marrying rudra.
2) they both had a deal. rudra was clear from his side. he just wanted to get the papers signed
3) I felt sad for paro. she is forcing herself on him now. what is the need to stand on one leg and impress him, instead she could have thought of something to prove in dilsher's case

Brilliant post! 👏
I've always supported Rudra and his actions bcoz every time, I could explain his actions logically.. in fact, I support both of them but yes, right now, I'm pissed off with Paro's innocence. I really want her to stop thinking about niyati and bholenath's ishara's and help Rudra to come out of this mess.
