Amazing post Sonya! glad to be on the same page on this!! And

@Suni - well said this part! WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT WE R NOT PARO! This is where understanding starts! Then acceptance will come for the way she acts and realize that its natural as can be and realistic for Paro!

this was my own post on this..

Paro's naivity in not being uncharacteristic at all!

Sunara believe it or not I was so looking forward to hear your say on this. When I saw that you have posted, I was like pata nahi kya bola hai ladki nay... Your opinion matters cuz even wen u disagree, u have a well-thought out response. And u always look at things using a holistic perspective so it is difficult not to agree with your disagreement... Even wen I disagree, I always see your point...

Very well explained
This is the best post that I've read regarding Paro's characterisation and the reasons behind her actions. I did have some issues with Paro being too stubborn and showing no sign of anger even when Rudra questions her character but now after reading your post, I completely understand Paro's POV. For her, she understands Rudra is saying all these out of anger. She will never leave his side without him understanding her.

As Beautifully written as the CVs have etched Paro.

It is hard for a common person to understand such a flawless innocent characterization, 'cos it is not real.

But I love Paro and find her totally in character because I refuse to look at her with the worldly glasses.

Completely agree with you. People need to look at it from Paro's perspective, keeping her culture, and values in mind. Please do not evaluate this from your perspective.
This is set in a village where the norms and cultures are different.
Paro is a village girl and her believes are logical and rational from that perspective.
We need to change our lens when we view her.
The CVs are showing us things that happen.
India in the villages is different from India in the cities.

Neither is she despo nor is her current behavior out of character. Her behaviour is in keeping with her character.

The profound simplicity of her mind is beyond the understanding of our complicated analytical mind. Her simplicity has a logic, it has a reason and more than all that it has crystal clear clarity with an unshakable conviction. A kind of conviction that our questioning minds cannot comprehend.

Paro is not from your land...please travel to her place to understand her.
