Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Kiara rejects Abhir's proposal, Armaan's big move creates a rift with Abhira

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Armaan tries to justify his stance to Abhira by saying that everything he did stemmed from his instinct to protect his sister. Abhira firmly tells him that he cannot shift the entire responsibility onto Abhir. She reminds him that blaming Abhir for every crisis will not change the truth. Armaan counters by accusing Abhir of destroying both Charu and Kiara's lives.

Abhira argues back, stressing that what happened between Abhir and Kiara was mutually agreed upon and not something forced. Hurt by Armaan's rigidity, she announces that she is returning to Abhir. Even when Armaan attempts to stop her, Abhira refuses to listen, saying he punished Abhir without even trying to understand the situation. Their argument intensifies, and she walks away.

Poddar Family Divided on Kiara’s Pregnancy

At the Poddar house, the family gathers to discuss Kiara's condition. Manoj insists that Kiara cannot bring a child into the world without being married. Vidya, however, feels that continuing the pregnancy might actually be a blessing for Kiara. Sanjay once again lashes out at Abhir, holding him responsible for both Charu and Kiara's emotional turmoil.

Kajal intervenes, saying that the unborn child should not be penalised because of the elders' judgments. She strongly opposes the idea of forcing Kiara into an abortion. Sanjay dismisses Kajal as being unreasonable, but Kajal stands her ground with determination.

Meanwhile, Abhira checks on Abhir and is shaken to see blood seeping from a wound on his head. She becomes deeply anxious about his condition. Armaan, on the other hand, is torn with concern for Kiara. Later, he tends to Kiara himself, but is stunned when Abhir arrives. Kiara admits to Abhir that she had wanted to tell the family the truth but was terrified of the fallout and couldn't figure out how to handle the situation.

Abhir Confesses His Feelings and Proposes

Armaan attempts to step in, but Abhira blocks him, insisting he let Kiara and Abhir speak freely. Armaan immediately jumps to conclusions and accuses Abhir of manipulating Kiara again. Abhira defends Abhir, clarifying that he only wants a conversation and reminding Armaan that Kiara is mature enough to make choices for herself. She urges Armaan to be patient and stop reacting impulsively.

Abhir then faces Kiara directly, asking her about her pregnancy. He opens up about his feelings, confessing his love and expressing his desire for a family with her. In an emotional moment, he compares Kiara to the strings of his guitar, saying just like a guitar sounds incomplete without its strings, his life feels incomplete without her presence. He asks Kiara to marry him and build a future together. However, Kiara turns down his proposal, leaving him heartbroken.

Armaan steps in harshly and orders Abhir to stay away from Kiara. Abhira intervenes yet again, advising Abhir to give Kiara space and assuring him that time will help her understand her own feelings. She also tells Armaan that instead of reacting out of anger, he should focus on supporting Kiara through this difficult phase.

Kaveri Targets Abhira as Family Debates Kiara’s Future

The family discusses the possibility of Kiara's marriage. Kaveri angrily points fingers at Abhira, claiming Abhira must have known everything as Abhir's sister. Kiara immediately rises to Abhira's defense. Armaan, however, once more blames Abhir, which deeply disappoints Abhira. She insists that Kiara should be given time to think things through instead of being pushed. Sanjay scoffs at the idea, saying that even after Kiara's so-called mistake, the family is still allowing her the right to decide. Tanya and Krish take a stand for Armaan and Abhira, siding with their more balanced approach.

Kaveri then brings up Maira, wondering what Abhira intends to say when Maira asks questions about Kiara's pregnancy. Just then, Maira returns home. Abhira quickly tells her to go inside, trying to shield her. Kaveri remarks that children learn from what they see, implying Maira will eventually discover the truth anyway.

Precap for the Next Episode

In the precap, Armaan tells Abhira that he cannot let Abhir destroy the Poddar family's reputation and instructs her to tell Abhir to stay away from Kiara. He then decides to take Kiara to Delhi. Abhira responds by saying she no longer has faith in Armaan's decisions and therefore cannot accompany him.
