@princessunara, a little more on this: if she signed those papers she'd be committing perjury (lying on oath) coz she seriously does not know Tejawat's hand in the arms dealing and that's what Rudra asks her to sign NOT that she was present or witness to the gun battle; she could serve a jail sentence for that; and if she admitted that she signed because Rudra asked her too, he would be guilty of getting her to sign under duress which would again make him lose the uniform

You are right that paro doesn't know about the arms dealing business and where is his arms stored. But the idea of signing papers is not to arrest her as a criminal but to use her as a witness for convicting Tejawat. There is no proof of the masaccre of the baraat untill we look on to paro. Now when paro will know d truth from tejawat himself she will sign those papers that were given by rudra. BSD is not a bunch of fools to just arrest her specially when those papers are a mode to investigate the 20year old custom of arms selling. Tyen she could have given hrr statement how she only knows it to be a pure marruage ritual.then bsd could have sensed n even found out that these girls r used as scapegoats. So in brief to get some proof rudra needs consent of the govt n BSD n for that he first needs to prove thakur as guilty. Paro will eventually be proved innocent if any of those girls r found out from the trafficking party in d other country.

Well my idea was not whether paro should sign papers or not but on d belief. M frustrated that paro if would have put her brains n even cooperated with rudra to find out the truth she could have been saved today. When maithilli was kidnapped she should have thought at least once if what rudra said was right; that some mishappenings happened on d haveli after d jhanki..rudra had told this that after jhanki she has invited enemies to kill her.

By the post I meant that d way Paso didn't believe rudra the same way no rudra will not put his senses n will blame n accuse paro for everything.

well, she explained it very well herself when she said that a child knows.

While I disagree with her that a child does NOT know (just like Rudra excellently explained it to her), it does give us insight as to why she won't believe anything else.

Since her childhood she's been made to believe the BSD are bad. They were said to have taken her family away from her. Take the parents away from a loving household and tell a "child" who's responsible and a child will never forget it. Just like Rudra, right? He hasn't gotten over his mother's past, coz what he was told was when he was a child.

So, just like that, Paro developed her prejudices, her fears, her anger and hate for the BSD as a child. That many years of prejudice, compounded by false news and accusations piled up against the BSD .. who the heck would believe anything they say.

Top that with her WITNESSING him killing her hubby, a hubby she developed feelings for ... WHY would she believe him?

As for what happened to her sister, and any other girl from town ... a million explanations can be given to her .. w/o proof, heck WITH proof, again, WHY would she believe him?

I feel what they're showing is totally natural. She hates him - he represents all that is dark and fearsome in her life - the death of her parents, her hubby, all that goes wrong in her town. Heck he was even in her nightmares ...

Now, if we're told, since childhood that a big monster like "THING" is truly a monster, and we've seen it devour someone, would we believe that beast if he came and told me he's NOT a monster? Heck no.

That said - both Paro and Rudra are living in their pasts ... one hates his mother because of others who took the facts and twisted them so a child would see what they wanted them to see. One hates BSD and fears all they touch because someone took facts and twisted them so a child would see what they wanted them to see.

They're both stubborn as hell. They're both alone. They're both fighting for what they love dearly - one loves his country, the other loves her town.

So similar - yet they stand at opposite ends today.

So - I for one love this stand off and I feel it's totally natural given the circumstances of their upbringing and the events that have lead them to this point.

Let's see where this takes us.

One note - even if Tejawat himself tells her everything, I still don't think she has anything to feel guilty about. She believed what she was lead to believe. She could be sorry Rudra was doubted incorrectly, but HER reactions were very justified, out and out. I know folks won't agree ... but sometimes it's not about the apology, or about right or wrong .. it's about knowing what one feels strongly ... she feels pain and hate .. and it's directed at an entity she was told is responsible for her parents death .. how could that possibly be wrong (her feelings, not the lies about BSD).

Agree with you on some points n that rudra n paro will both have been made believe d things from their childhood. Rudra will realize about his mother when she herself tells him that she indeed cane for him n to take him with her. Paro will get to know the truth when tejawat himself tells her.

But paro although may not feel guilty as she had not known anything she will still feel d pain for not being able to help her nation n its soldiers get justice. Remember she said once that I can't go against my country n I love it. If rudra loses his job n is humiliated a along with d soldiers she will be hurt n Amy b regret to an extent. Or else that scene of rudra telling her all that in d mehendi night won't have been shown.
