So Rudra was expecting to brain wash, intimidate and sexually threaten Paro to sign those papers and turn in her father like Tejawat?

A total stranger and her biggest nemesis BSD, kills her husband in front of her, gives her no proof that her in-laws were all terrorists, worse he himself behaves irresponsibly and kills everyone and leaves no trace of proof.

Infact, the way he behaved so irresponsibly at the shoot out, he deserves a court martial. An army major holds a woman hostage and sexually threatens her to do his bidding just to save himself especially after such a poorly unplanned operation does not deserve my sympathy.

No girl would sign those papers especially under such intense and sexual threats.
True he has protected her many times, but he has also sexually violated her many times.
So she can't trust him for anything.

Both Rudra and Paro have made wrong choices and will now pay for it. He with court martial and she with nowhere to go after knowing Tejawats truth.

And that's what sets the stage for the intense drama to unfold.

And your title is not apt for a white character like Paro. It indicates that she has committed a wrong and now wrong will be done to her. She has done no wrong, she will pay for being disillusioned about Tejawat. What goes around comes around would be appropriate for characters like Tejawat & Mohini.
Just my POV.

Karma...I dont know how many have studied very closely what Karma is actually.

Any action, thought, sight, hearing or said are all "karmas".
Every individual ...U and I including indulges in the above "karmas' day in...day out...at every second...till we live and breath.
Infact, breathing is also a form of karma ur heart is doing coz its an "action" being performed so u live.
No I am in no stance to give gyaan on Karma...but just want to point out, that each karma will have its repercussions...Each karma of urs, good ..bad...negative...positive...willingly, unwillingly, knowingly or unknowingly... will go around the universe and come right back to u.
Thus in this case...Paro indulged in not trusting Rudra...Her karma even though was done unknowingly...will have its repercussions and will come back to her. She thought Rudra was her destroyer...so now Rudra will think Paro was his destroyer. She thot Rudra was dark well now she is about to get the same title from Rudra. Paro never trusted Rudra and now...she will be the one on the recieving end trying to get Rudra to trust her...
Irony of life...but it happens in real life as well!

All these 8 weeks majorsa did nothing to bring in proof. Let's be practical here.
Trying to intimidate a girl with marriage threats...is that all he could come up with to save himself from a court martial .
What happened to his Sharp mind? Why not get to Thakursa's hideout to get some proof.
All he was doing was intimidating her and threatening her, putting mehendi, removing necklace. Now that ain't befitting a patriotic major on a mission.
And he himself massacred all proof during the shoot out.

Such a major deserves no sympathy...court martial it is!
Deal with it boy! And no Rona dhona please

In the same token Rudra too is reaping what he sowed. Despite several warnings from his CO he went after Tejawat unprepared using false documents and lost his cool killing all his witnesses in the bararat.Thereafter due to his plan of sending Paro in public transportation to Birpur Tejawat got alerted about Paro. To get back at KCM he asked for a huge wedding when he wanted to keep Paro away from prying eyes!! He increased the threat to Paro by coming up with flimsy plans. Finally, in all this time he has not managed to get an iota of proof against Tejawat to strengthen his case or convince Paro.
Even if Paro signs, it would be a false testimony (a lie) as she has never seen the gun smuggling like Bhindi, and the testimony taken under pressure is not accepted in court. Rudra just expected Paro to believe his words without any solid proof and sign to escape the complete lockdown he put her in?

On top of all this his "friend" Laila is attempting to kill Paro because she feels betrayed by Rudra.

well, she explained it very well herself when she said that a child knows.

While I disagree with her that a child does NOT know (just like Rudra excellently explained it to her), it does give us insight as to why she won't believe anything else.

Since her childhood she's been made to believe the BSD are bad. They were said to have taken her family away from her. Take the parents away from a loving household and tell a "child" who's responsible and a child will never forget it. Just like Rudra, right? He hasn't gotten over his mother's past, coz what he was told was when he was a child.

So, just like that, Paro developed her prejudices, her fears, her anger and hate for the BSD as a child. That many years of prejudice, compounded by false news and accusations piled up against the BSD .. who the heck would believe anything they say.

Top that with her WITNESSING him killing her hubby, a hubby she developed feelings for ... WHY would she believe him?

As for what happened to her sister, and any other girl from town ... a million explanations can be given to her .. w/o proof, heck WITH proof, again, WHY would she believe him?

I feel what they're showing is totally natural. She hates him - he represents all that is dark and fearsome in her life - the death of her parents, her hubby, all that goes wrong in her town. Heck he was even in her nightmares ...

Now, if we're told, since childhood that a big monster like "THING" is truly a monster, and we've seen it devour someone, would we believe that beast if he came and told me he's NOT a monster? Heck no.

That said - both Paro and Rudra are living in their pasts ... one hates his mother because of others who took the facts and twisted them so a child would see what they wanted them to see. One hates BSD and fears all they touch because someone took facts and twisted them so a child would see what they wanted them to see.

They're both stubborn as hell. They're both alone. They're both fighting for what they love dearly - one loves his country, the other loves her town.

So similar - yet they stand at opposite ends today.

So - I for one love this stand off and I feel it's totally natural given the circumstances of their upbringing and the events that have lead them to this point.

Let's see where this takes us.

One note - even if Tejawat himself tells her everything, I still don't think she has anything to feel guilty about. She believed what she was lead to believe. She could be sorry Rudra was doubted incorrectly, but HER reactions were very justified, out and out. I know folks won't agree ... but sometimes it's not about the apology, or about right or wrong .. it's about knowing what one feels strongly ... she feels pain and hate .. and it's directed at an entity she was told is responsible for her parents death .. how could that possibly be wrong (her feelings, not the lies about BSD).

Honestly I don't see how any of this is Paro's fault. She does not know anything about thakursa's wrong doings. She has only seen his "goodness" all her life. And Rudra? He has not proved or shown any evidence or anything about thakur's illegal plans to her. Not even one piece of evidence...Paro saw him kill her husband, thats what she saw and thats what she knows!

But in the end it will be Paro being blamed for everything. Eventhough she is the biggest victim in all this.

Dilshers trust in Paro will be gone forever. Paro will be on the receiving side of all the anger going around. And to get back Rudras trust in her will be really tough.

Court martial is the only punishment for an impulsive abusive soldier.
He hasn't backed up his action with concrete evidence and has to pay for it.
No sympathies.

Paro is not to blame because of the reasons many have already stated.
She will pay for the wrong doings of others.

True, he deserves to pay for his deeds.

Yes what goes around does come around, but for Rudra.
He used false documents to carry out his attack on the marriage party,
He massacred all the terrorists and behaved in an irresponsible major
And thus removed all evidence himself.
And when he realized that all he has as witness us this poor innocent girl, all he did was threaten her, sexually violate her and force an unwanted marriage on her.
He disregards his boss's advice to treat the girl kindly and further incriminates the BSD in her already tainted mind.

yes, he has to pay for his impulsive actions. He does not deserve the uniform IMO. That's what would happen in real life.
