I too felt that Rudra here is not as out of character at all!! He is neiother ignorant about her as an attractive woman nor is he going out of his way to get closer to her. Whatever has been happening is in the course of time. The shayari and all were needed in Friday's episode else how would we know Rudra's confused or rather baffled state of mind regarding things that he was doing to get Paro comfortable and treat her sprained ankle? He was affected for sure but still he went about it as clinically and gently as possible. This was NOT the LOVE but sure a step towards awareness of a different type from Rudra's side for Paro!!

Well said!! @ mozart66 ...love your screen name! Mozarts 40th symphony is one of my favorite music pieces...😊

About the Shayari...believe it or not...I have not seen Veer Zara and had never heard that one...so to me it sounded like a Shayari about (romantic) awareness...but then when I looked at the words some one posted in the forum...I realized there were many things in there about sweet memories etc. that did not quite fit...So perhaps, a more appropriate selection is recommended next time...considering people who have seen Veera Zara may take it in different context with a different interpretation than intended...

Guys...sorry no time to reply to all the posts...but loved reading all the thoughts...and perspectives! Thank you for posting!

Very well said Sush :) I am still trying to grasp the character of Rudra. To me paro character is still very vague .extremely vague . I haven't watched the beginning episodes . I started watching week or so.
But your analysis is very helpful to understand a lot more.

The Friday episode where he decides to pick her up n help her with her foot is very much out of place I do feel too that's why I feel they should show Paro's inner turmoil as to what she is thinking for the audience to know and I do agree the cvs did show Paro resisting his help while her foot is hurt walking out of the haveli but that scene is not enough 😲

But Rudra's character is more dominating...Paro is shown to be more timid ..so even though she protests, Rudra will get his way! He is like that with everyone. Is not the essence of the story where they will realize how wrong they were about each other? ..but that will take time... I think we all need to be patient...they can't show hate for so long that you can't overcome it later. it has to build up to it and the cvs have to cater to the online audience , trp aunties ...I agree that they should show Paro's inner thoughts for the audience ..

For me personally I think this post is a perfect example of why RR is a different love story to any we have seen on TV... Rudra is not heartbroken from women he just does not trust or want to get involved with them because he is afraid of being hurt...

but there is no reason for him to hate Paro, but there is more reason for him to want to protect her because she is a key witness to the case he is handling so if she in discomfort he would like to help her..
Although the setting is that of a Rajansthan clan, I think it is still mordern.. and that comes out of Rudra from time to time, at the end of the day he is red blooded man and if there is an atttractive girl staying with him, it is bound that he would be attracted to her but that does not mean that he is love with her he is just in lust at the moment...
I think that Rudra charcter is fine and the way the storyline is shaping up is also fine... they are not rushing the storyline but then again they are not slowing down the storyline, they are going at a pace where the viewers understand what is happening with the main lead and also that of the family surrouding them

Thank you so much GPK! It is the feedback like yours that makes me motivated to share my perspective...

Rudra is exactly the kind of bad boy I like...so decent and so capable of caring...just like he cares for his father...even though he wears a persona that is rough at the exterior...

Paros feeling towards him...will be a tough thing...but the transition has to be shown gradually...

Thank you!
BTW, my real name is Monica.

he looked at her sleeping and just remembered she was hurt ..no other thoughts!
so the audience needs to infer all the thoughts ..why..they could have shown her challenging him earlier..refusing his help to walk..and then he decides to help!
just my two cents..it's a daily soap..they an certainly draw it out right,

I guess that is what the makers wanted to show ... that he HAS no other thoughts at the moment, except for a feeling of guilt ... the awareness has already been brought in, so no need to show that again ... the hesitation and tentativeness as he had to hold her foot to remove the bandage and put the bottle said the rest.
Maybe like many people have said here, the choice of song was wrong ... it was premature. He is not attracted towards her yet, not knowingly ... but the awareness of a man for a woman is there ... that is why the tentativeness in the first place. If it was a guy, he would not have been hesitant at all. But she is his witness, and his responsibility ... he faltered in that in his anger .. so guilt and taking care of her to make up.
I will wait for them to take it further.

Great post. Rudra has always been attracted to Paro from first glance. He was mesmerized for a moment when he watched Paro through his rear view mirror until he controlled him with his belief on beautiful women. Ever since then, he's prejudice against beautiful women and Paro's involvement with Terrorists has left him skeptical about her. But he's slowly seeing her innocence and mental strength as a woman.

Hi Sidda...not sure if we are at noticing the mental strength part yet...

totally agree!!! They have not shown Rudra in love with Paro. They are just showing a growing attraction which is slowly coming out to the surface coz of the circumstances of them living together and the family trying to pin them together. It was in fact quite beautifully thought out and written by creatives was my take!

adding this thought
The love part will take time. The attraction does not and that is the difference!

EXACTLY!!!!

Hi Sush, loved the analysis as always. Read every one's reviews too.

My reasons why it wasn't OTT and these might be resonating most of ur thoughts (no plagiarism but ur analysis and everyone's replies might have some effect on my thoughts that could reflect here)

1. He was attracted the first time he saw her. He was shocked hearing about her marriage as if he thought " boy I missed her". I mean who wouldn't after such a nice rolling session with saxy kamaria 😉

2. The initial few days he did hate her to the core thinking she must be a suspect too. But after these many days of not finding even one proof against her, seeing her coming back and looking in his eyes and promising that she would prove her innocence, seeing her not complaining for anything and to top it of taking care of his dad who is the only person that means something to him. Aren't these reasons enough for him to soften towards her?

3. He sure must be having a big turmoil to stop his attraction towards her. And like someone mentioned he is no Rama and infact more a Krishna with his rasaleelas (read lailaleelas). With such controlled attraction in mind it is very natural to hesitate to even touch. Because even a small touch would give hundred shocks down the nerves.

4. Being a good human being he is, he wouldn't have left her on the floor there without unattending her wound. As for his emotions/attraction while attending her wounds could also be taken as him trying to make sure she doesn't wake up because he doesn't want her to think that he has softened towards her. So for all we know all that attraction might be us fan girls perspective when infact he is just doing it with instrumental perfection to make sure she doesn't wake up.

@Malkasub, I can sooo totally relate to you. As much as I enjoy the 25minutes serial, that much I enjoy spending about 6 hours in a day in this forum reading almost all posts. It became such an addiction that I dont hesitate to fight with my hubby if he tells me to stop the ipad 😛 while I am in this forum.
