HOLIKA DAHAN 3.3
Hi guys, a lot has been said about the Friday episode and why the romance was too sudden and did not fit...may be enough discussion has happened on it already and we don't need another topic...but I do want to say something...I think, when a man finds a woman attractive ...it is not something that takes a lot of time...It is something that happens quickly...infact if does not happen quickly enough...I becomes a logical decision not a reaction from the innate reaction of a man reacting to a woman ...Thats why I do not think it is too soon for Rudra to feel all sheepish about the simple act of dong some thing to make his witness comfortable that he knows he has put in a very difficult situation and for who he feels the responsibility to protect...The same protectiveness and care was visible...when the first time Paro fell unconscious in his arms the very first time he protected her from rapists, the second time when she had a nightmare in the hospital and the third time when she cut her palm trying to escape...and not to forget...when he helped her climb down from the top of the cupboard so that she does not fall...so Fridays episode was nothing unusual in that way...and it fit the pattern very well...what is happening that in every interaction...he is getting more aware of her as a woman...and is feeling this attraction that a man feels for a woman...which leads to romance...A certain other serial I watched for a little bit...had the male lead feel nothing in terms f attraction for the female lead who was living in the same room...and at times came very close to him...I found that so odd...that eventually I stopped watching the serial...To me, that just seems like a relationship without a spark...The spark has to be spontaneous,...even though the reaction to the spark may be controlled...So, I am glad the makers are showing that spark...Now what was different in Fridays episode was a stretched moment when Rudra felt hesitant to even do what he was doing and of course there was the wind blowing and the Shayari and all...I think all that was to show Rudra's state of mind...which had all these uncomfortable thoughts rising...given the situation he was in...Contrary to what many have expressed...apart from his prejudices against women s general...Rudra has nothing specific to hate Paro for...So these feelings are as natural as they can be...I think the resistance should and would come more from Paros side...given her MU about him...and her misperception of anyone associated with BSD,...I think Rudra's character and actions are well depicted in the serial so far...Please share any thoughts, if you wish ( would love to hear if you agree or disagree)..or ignore the topic if we have been through it enough already...😃

After Rudra was about to change (Notice the camera focusing on her back?) He was looking at her the way a man would look at a woman.
Even I wasn't surprised at all because Rudra has always felt this way about Paro from the first meeting itself he even felt a small pinch after hearing she's getting married he wasn't happy at all with that.
From comforting her when she was having nightmares to helping her get down the cupboard to bandaging her palm after she cut it trying to escape.
Another one was covering her up after setting her free I know he was playing with her but why cover her up? It's shouldn't be his concern at all.
But... But No one was discussing this but in the scene with Aman he sees her as a witness still. In the recent promo I don't think he stop her from picking up his shoes in a nice way he stop her because he doesn't like others touching his things, it clearly shows he hasn't warmed up to her yet.
They still hate each other we still see them fighting with each other. Rudra show his inner feelings only when Paro is asleep I have always noticed.
In all articles I read non has descried RR as a love hate story it was described as a passionate, Intense, edgy dark, Bold love story. That's from what I read of I read hate no where. So I'm not having any expectations of seeing the lead hating each other from a long time period.
