Hi guys, a lot has been said about the Friday episode and why the romance was too sudden and did not fit...may be enough discussion has happened on it already and we don't need another topic...but I do want to say something...

I think, when a man finds a woman attractive ...it is not something that takes a lot of time...It is something that happens quickly...infact if does not happen quickly enough...I becomes a logical decision not a reaction from the innate reaction of a man reacting to a woman ...Thats why I do not think it is too soon for Rudra to feel all sheepish about the simple act of dong some thing to make his witness comfortable that he knows he has put in a very difficult situation and for who he feels the responsibility to protect...

The same protectiveness and care was visible...when the first time Paro fell unconscious in his arms the very first time he protected her from rapists, the second time when she had a nightmare in the hospital and the third time when she cut her palm trying to escape...and not to forget...when he helped her climb down from the top of the cupboard so that she does not fall...so Fridays episode was nothing unusual in that way...and it fit the pattern very well...what is happening that in every interaction...he is getting more aware of her as a woman...and is feeling this attraction that a man feels for a woman...which leads to romance...

A certain other serial I watched for a little bit...had the male lead feel nothing in terms f attraction for the female lead who was living in the same room...and at times came very close to him...I found that so odd...that eventually I stopped watching the serial...To me, that just seems like a relationship without a spark...

The spark has to be spontaneous,...even though the reaction to the spark may be controlled...So, I am glad the makers are showing that spark...Now what was different in Fridays episode was a stretched moment when Rudra felt hesitant to even do what he was doing and of course there was the wind blowing and the Shayari and all...I think all that was to show Rudra's state of mind...which had all these uncomfortable thoughts rising...given the situation he was in...

Contrary to what many have expressed...apart from his prejudices against women s general...Rudra has nothing specific to hate Paro for...So these feelings are as natural as they can be...

I think the resistance should and would come more from Paros side...given her MU about him...and her misperception of anyone associated with BSD,...

I think Rudra's character and actions are well depicted in the serial so far...

Please share any thoughts, if you wish ( would love to hear if you agree or disagree)..or ignore the topic if we have been through it enough already...😃

WONDERFUL ANALYSIS 👏 I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH RUDRA'S EMOTIONS BUT WHAT I AM NOT ABLE TO UNDERSTAND IS PARO'S INNER TURMOILS AND HER EMOTIONS TOWARDS THE SITUATION SHE IS FACING .LIKE IS SHE COMFORTABLE WITH WHAT IS HAPPENING AROUND HER OR IS SHE FIGHTING WITHIN HERSELF .

Hi Hagen,...
As I have already indicated in other posts...Paro of course has reasons to be very very resistant to any thing even close to the romance...because of her MU and her impression of Rudra killing so many people that she has no reason to believe were guilty of anything. Her mistrust of any one in BSD...because of the impression she has of BSD...killing her mom and dad as well...

Unfortuntely, the CVs have not spent enough time lately on those thoughts and almost no emphasis is being put on that aspect ...creating a sort of disconnect in her reaction or lack there of...This aspect was well depicted in earlier episodes...Yes, she has made the choice to come back...as she has made peace ...with the situation but still she can not let go of all those MUs without anything...and I hope they will not ignore those aspects to maintain continuity and portraying Paro realistically...

So far they have made her faint or sleep when our major is sweating like this...😆

Bang on post!

After Rudra was about to change (Notice the camera focusing on her back?) He was looking at her the way a man would look at a woman.

Even I wasn't surprised at all because Rudra has always felt this way about Paro from the first meeting itself he even felt a small pinch after hearing she's getting married he wasn't happy at all with that.

From comforting her when she was having nightmares to helping her get down the cupboard to bandaging her palm after she cut it trying to escape.

Another one was covering her up after setting her free I know he was playing with her but why cover her up? It's shouldn't be his concern at all.

But... But No one was discussing this but in the scene with Aman he sees her as a witness still. In the recent promo I don't think he stop her from picking up his shoes in a nice way he stop her because he doesn't like others touching his things, it clearly shows he hasn't warmed up to her yet.

They still hate each other we still see them fighting with each other. Rudra show his inner feelings only when Paro is asleep I have always noticed.

In all articles I read non has descried RR as a love hate story it was described as a passionate, Intense, edgy dark, Bold love story. That's from what I read of I read hate no where. So I'm not having any expectations of seeing the lead hating each other from a long time period.

Exactly!

I also think the makers are doing a great job...to show that Rudra is a very decent human being despite his background with Laila...Even though he feels the attraction...he is very careful to not cross the limit even when she is sleeping and the hesitation he has in even doing simple things like touching her foot...He does not even stare at her for long...and catches himself...in the scene in the BR when she was sleeping ...

In a certain other serial, I watched for a little while, that I shall not name...the male lead had indecent behavior to the point of sexually harassing the female lead...and then pretending to be in love with her...which totally turned me off...and I gave up on that one...

LOVING RUDRAs character sketch!!! 👍🏼

Sush... I agree with ur point... Rudra is attracted to her and has been from the the first glance.., even when he was a kid he must have been 13 ... Raging hormones he listened to the 10 year paro... Not listening to his dad..😆..
Now is paro attracted to rudra... She's not repelled by him...she certainly does not say ghrina... She was conscience of him at the jeep when he saves her... After her preconceived notion about BSD...and impending marriage...controlled her thoughts..
What is happening right now... I guess she is becoming comfortable around him..she likes hiding behind his back and likes looking at their reflection together... What does that say about her..

I know the serials u may be talking about..if the guy is not attracted to the girl at first glance.. Then how can llove happen ..
I had an arranged marriage...mybasic rule when I was meeting people... I had to be attracted to him at first glance and then things can go further.. .. There were couple of well qualified suitors who I had to well ... It was difficult explaining to my parents that I am not attracted to them... I don't want to marry them..😆

I always enjoy reading your posts ... and love the kind of perspectives (or sushpective, as you call it) you bring into the analyses..

I agree with you. Rudra is basically a good human being and caring, too! We have seen his love and care for his father and also his protective nature towards Paro. Despite having gone through so much in his own life and living without any touch of affection, he has not lost the basic human qualities .. His saving Paro on several occasions is a proof of that.

And since he does not have any inherent or particular hatred towards Paro, it is quite natural that he would feel the attraction.. None of them has to do anything for that. Their everyday interactions and incidents around them will bring them closer. And being a man, it would be the most normal thing for Rudra to feel the love for Paro. Although it is most likely that he would try to fight the attraction given his general misconception about woman and in particular his mother's treachery, which, his surroundings, such as his Aunt's continuous taunts will remind him of.

However I am curious to see how Paro feels about that.. How she comes into terms with her feelings for her husband's killer. To show that convincingly would be a great challenge for the CVs.

Lovely take! 😊

In the previous serial, I too did not understand how they could show two attractive people sharing a bedroom and not show any effect on either of them.

Here at least they showed the attraction from their first shared scene ..he rescued her..rolling together..she holding on to his collar..he carrying her away from the fire..him not believing that the girls were involved in the arms deal.. Him getting surprised to hear it was Paros wedding...him looking in the rear view mirror and looking away when he catches himself staring. ..Paro also felt something when she saw the blood on the blouse wondering if he was hurt ..remembering that he was shot ..but since she was betrothed to another ofcourse she dismissed it.

Coming to Friday's scene, I thought that they should not have provided the BG song..it seemed odd. .. I have noticed that they tend to do the background songs too much .some instrumental music would be fine if they want to fill the silence...I loved how he notices her sexy back 😉..lifts her and puts her on the bed and takes care of her ...what a gentlemanly thing to do ..but I expect him to do that because not only is he an officer, he is a Rajput ...not some rogue off the street..so I am glad that the cvs showed that . 👍🏼

Paro will hate him for a longer time and even refuse him ..till the MUs are cleared ..I am looking forward to see how the story unfolds.. We are in for helluva ride.

That is true! He is not caring for her BECAUSE he loves her...

He is caring for her as his witness and in doing so...his attraction is precipitating more...and even strange emotions are surfacing...

A FINE DIFFERENCE BUT A VERY IMPORTANT ONE!!!!!

Guys...I will be back...gotto take care of a few things...but loving all the thoughts posted on the thread...will come back and reply..,

Awesome post with perfect analysis , totally agree with u

RUDRA and PARO still hate each other , during aman scene he told him clearly that she is a prime witness , she knows a lot and she will tell the truth , late but she will , during new promo he is not allowing her to pick up his shoes , cuz of his hatred towards her remember he told her clearly that he is not giving her permit ion to touch his stuff , whatever they showed during Friday epi was just mild attraction of a man towards a beautiful woman , which is so natural , and RUDRA was mildly attracted towards PARO since the beginning , from the first episode , saving her from rapist , and from fire , comforting her during night mares , taking care of her wound all of these examples r proof of that , and being a man it's very natural for him to attract towards a beautiful women , who is around him most of the time
