Hi, loving the lead pair so wrote this for them. I hope you like it.
PART 1
Suri Haveli had never looked more magnificent.
The grand courtyard had been transformed for the Suri Group annual office celebration. Golden lights wrapped around the pillars, music played softly in the background, and the city’s most influential people moved around the hall.
At the center of it all stood Aryaman Suri.
Calm. Powerful. Composed. At least… that’s what everyone thought. Because the moment she entered the haveli, everything inside him shifted.
“Good evening, Mr. Suri.”
Aryaman looked up.
Standing near the entrance were Radhika and her husband Purab. Purab smiled warmly.
“Beautiful event. Your team has done a great job.”
Aryaman nodded politely.
“Thank you for coming.”
Then his eyes moved to Radhika.
For a brief moment… The world went silent. Memories flashed. Promises.Betrayal.
The woman who once meant everything.
Radhika noticed the tension immediately.
She spoke softly.
“Hello, Aryaman.”
His expression hardened.
“You didn’t have to come.”
The bluntness caught Purab slightly off guard.
But Radhika only nodded faintly.
“I know.”
“We thought it would be good to attend. After all, we’re working together now.” Purab added.
Aryaman forced a polite smile again.
“Of course.”
From the staircase balcony above…
Ahana had been watching everything.
Her eyes moved between Aryaman and Radhika.
The way Aryaman had gone completely still when she entered.
The tension in his voice.
Something about it made Ahana’s chest tighten.
So she still affects him…
Before she could think further,
“Planning to stand here all night?”
Ahana turned.
Vikram stood beside her, holding two glasses of juice.
He handed her one casually.
“You look like you’re watching a thriller movie.”
Ahana smirked faintly.
“Maybe I am.”
They both looked down at the hall.
Aryaman was now speaking to investors, but his attention kept drifting unconsciously toward where Radhika stood with Purab.
Vikram noticed everything.
“Interesting, isn’t it?” he said casually.
Ahana didn’t answer.
Vikram continued.
“Some stories never really end.”
Ahana’s voice was calm.
“Some people just refuse to move on.”
Vikram chuckled.
“You sound defensive.”
Ahana glanced at him.
“Why are you here, Vikram?”
He leaned casually against the railing.
“To see old friends.”
His eyes softened slightly.
“And maybe… old feelings.”
Ahana rolled her eyes.
“Don’t start.”
“Why?” he teased. “You used to like when I annoyed you.”
Ahana laughed quietly.
“That was before you almost married me.”
Vikram grinned.
“Almost.”
Downstairs, Aryaman happened to look up.
And the first thing he saw was Ahana laughing with Vikram.
His expression darkened instantly.
Purab noticed Aryaman’s sudden distraction.
“Everything alright?”
Aryaman nodded quickly.
“Yes.”
But his eyes moved upward again.
Toward the balcony.
Toward Ahana.
Standing too close.
Laughing too easily. Something unfamiliar burned inside his chest.
A feeling he refused to name.
He didn’t like it.
Not at all.
